On July 18, 2017, deputies with Precinct 4 Constable Mark Herman’s Office responded to the 3900 block of Chapel Square Drive in reference to a suspicious vehicle. When the deputy arrived, he located the vehicle and made contact with the occupants. While speaking with the driver of the vehicle, identified as Kelly Huynh, deputies observed a male in the back seat of the vehicle attempting to conceal himself. While removing the male, identified as Jacory Harris, from the vehicle, deputies discovered he was lying on top of a handgun.
The investigation by deputies revealed that Huynh and Harris had followed the complainant from a nearby store and admitted that they were planning on robbing the complainant when the complainant exited her vehicle.
“Huynh and Harris were arrested, charged with Criminal Conspiracy to Commit Aggravated Robbery, and booked into the Harris County Jail. Huynh’s and Harris’ bond was set at $10,000.00 out of the 337th District Court.” –Constable Mark Herman
