On January 15th 2017, a deputy with Constable Mark Herman’s Office was dispatched to the 18600 block of Falcon Crest in reference to an aggravated robbery. The responding deputy received information that a juvenile male had approached the complainants, all juveniles, and attempted to sell them marijuana and all refused to purchase any. The suspect then produced a knife and demanded all the money that one of the complainant’s had. This juvenile complainant attempted to retreat and run away from the suspect. The suspect gave chase, caught the complainant and punched him once in the face. The injured juvenile and the rest of the juveniles continued to run. The suspect stopped chasing, got in a vehicle and fled the scene.
One of the complainant’s had access to a school yearbook. The deputy was able to use this yearbook to obtain a positive identification on the suspect. Once the suspect’s identification was verified the deputy located a witness who verified what the complainant’s had reported.
“Following the identification of the juvenile suspect, determined to be 15 years old, he was arrested and charged with aggravated robbery before being released to Harris County Juvenile Detention Center.” – Precinct 4 Constable Mark Herman
