On April 7, 2017, a Deputy with Harris County Precinct 4, Constable Mark Herman’s Office, attempted to conduct a traffic stop on a vehicle in the 14300 block of Stuebner Airline. The vehicle failed to stop and fled, leading the deputy on a pursuit for approximately 2 miles before stopping.
The driver, identified as Ali Muhammad, was discovered to have a strong odor of an alcoholic beverage emitting from his breath, and was found to be intoxicated after further testing.
Ali Muhammad was arrested, and booked into the Harris County jail, charged with Evading Arrest in a Motor Vehicle and Driving While Intoxicated. His bond was set at $5,000.00 out of the 338th District Court for the Evading Arrest in a Motor Vehicle and $500.00 out of County Court 014 for Driving While Intoxicated.
