MONTGOMERY COUNTY – The Texas Department of Public Safety (DPS) is asking for the public’s help in the investigation of a hit-and-run fatal crash that occurred on Friday, November 5, 2021, at approximately 7:29 p.m., in Montgomery County, Texas.
Preliminary investigation indicates a White Truck Tractor/Semi-Trailor was stopped at the stop sign northbound on Mt. Mariah Rd. A 1998 Ford F-150 was traveling eastbound on State Highway 105. The driver of the Truck Tractor/Semi-Trailer failed to yield the right of way turning left causing a collision with the Ford. The driver of the Ford, Sixty-seven-year-old Gary Lee Frank of Montgomery, Texas was pronounced deceased on scene. The driver of the Truck Tractor/Semi-Trailor fled the scene westbound on SH 105.
