home owner beaten as home burglarized-SUSPECT MUG ATTATCHED

April_26__2012_Burglary_of_Habitation_PHOTOOn Wednesday morning, Patrol Deputies were dispatched to the 400 Block of Pine Edge in The Woodlands at approximately 11:30 a.m.. When deputies arrived they found the homeowner had been beaten by suspects.

The female victim told deputies that she answered a knock at her door around 10:00 in the morning and a female that she recognized as a former house keeper engaged her in conversation and asked if she had any work for her.

A male then forced his way into the residence and the victim was assaulted by both of the suspects and tied up. Weapons and jewelry were stolen from the residence.

The complainant was taken by ambulance to a local hospital for treatment.

Investigators have identified one of the suspects and have obtained a warrant for her arrest.
