On April 21, 2017, at 2:30 pm, Deputies with the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office, District 4 Patrol Division, were dispatched to 19391 Dorris Lane for a Burglary in Progress. While in route to the location, the homeowner advised she caught two males breaking into her home. The homeowner provided responding Deputies with a vehicle description and license plate number.
The vehicle information was relayed through Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office Communications and was subsequently located by Magnolia Police Department in the 41500 block of South Buckhorn. During the investigation, Deputies located property belonging to the homeowner within the suspect’s vehicle. Both males were arrested for Burglary of a Habitation and transported to the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office Jail for booking.
The Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office would like to thank the Magnolia Police Department and the Texas Department of Public Safety for assisting in this investigation. It is with their assistance that we were able to apprehend both suspects and return property to the rightful owner.
