house fire in roman forest

Just after 1:30 Sunday afternoon a house fire was reported at 407 Caesars Circle in Roman Forest. When units arrived fire was coming out of a room containing the hot water heater and had extended into the attic.

Crews from New Caney, Splendora, River Plantation. and Porter Fire Departments were able to contain the fire to the attic. Due to the heat additional help was called for man power. Caney Creek and Needham Road Fire Departments responded to back into the empty station to cover the district.

There were no injuries.

The Montgomery County Fire Marshal’s Office will be investigating the fire.

    I thought fire fighters are supposed to be in shape….. What is the deal with all of these over weight, big belly fire fighters??? That one laying down looks like a beached whale!!!!

      Its called they volunteer their time. Work a house fire in 90 degree weather outside then 200 degree temps inside with 90 pounds of weight trying to save peoples lives and property.
