The FBI Bank Robbery Task Force needs your help in identifying the impatient bank robber who threatened to harm a teller with a gun if she didn’t “hurry-up” and hand over cash in the robbery of the IBC Bank located inside the Kroger store at 12400 FM 1960 West in Houston, Texas, on Monday. A bank surveillance photograph is below.
The man entered the bank, approached a teller, and told her he needed to make a withdrawal. He then informed her he had a gun and demanded she hand over her cash. The impatient robber repeatedly told the teller he had a gun and was going to pull it out if she did not hurry up. After receiving some cash, the robber fled and was seen getting into a small, four-door black sedan. No weapon was observed by the teller. No one was physically hurt during the robbery.
The robber is described as a black male, 25 years old, approximately 5’10” tall, with a slim build, dark complexion, and cleanly shaven. He wore a black hat with a “CR” logo on the front, presumably a Colorado Rockies hat, dark hooded jacket, and dark sunglasses.
Crime Stoppers of Houston is offering up to $5,000 for information leading to the charging and arrest of this robber, or any felony suspect. If you have information about this crime, please call the Crime Stoppers Tip Line at 713-222-TIPS (8477).
