On June 25, 2012, while conducting rounds in the Montgomery County Jail the jail staff found an inmate with a bed sheet around his neck inside a one-man cell. The inmate was taken by ambulance to a nearby hospital where he was pronounced dead. An autopsy was completed this morning.
The inmate, Pedro Pete Noboa 4/22/72, had been arrested for Aggravated Assault by the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office on June 8, 2011, for assaulting and stabbing his wife.
The death investigation is being conducted by the Montgomery County Major Crimes, Texas Rangers and District Attorney’s Office.

JUNE 8, 2011
Wednesday evening approximately 6:15 Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office and MCHD were dispatched to a home in the 27000 block of Macy Hills in the Spring Hills subdivision in Spring. The nature of the call was a reported disturbance.
When deputies arrived they could hear a woman screaming for help inside. Deputies along with Precinct 3 deputies made forced entry into the home and found a 34 year old female had been stabbed. The victims husband, Pedro “Pete” Noboa, 39 was also in the home and was arrested.
Deputies assisted the woman with medical treatment until MCHD arrived and transported her in critical condition to the hospital.
Pedro Noboa is now in the Montgomery County jail charged with Aggravated Assault with a deadly weapon and Violation of a Protective Order.
Detective P. Hahs and K. Echols along with Crime Scene Investigators are conducting the investigation.
