Interfering with the Duties of a Public Servant

On October 2, 2018, a deputy with Constable Mark Herman’s office responded to a disturbance in the 22900 block of Tree House Ln. Upon arriving the deputy observed a male arguing with several other people. The deputy began to break up the disturbance and the male suspect became confrontational.

The suspect attempted to leave while the Constable Deputy was conducting the investigation and he was told that he could not leave during the investigation. The suspect then attempted to assault the deputy who was able to utilize his department issued taser and bring the suspect under control and identify him as James Orange.

“James Orange was arrested and booked into the Harris County Jail, charged with Interfering with the Duties of a Public Servant. His bond is set at $500.00 out of County Court 15.” – Constable Mark Herman
