About 9 pm Wednesday night Rebecca Stillwell was traveling north on FM 1314 at Fatheree when she left the roadway, went through a concrete ditch, crossed Fatheree, and almost went into a drainage ditch. The impact was so severe that the engine mounts of the Mazda broke dropping the engine to the ground. She was transported to Kingwood Hospital and later released to DPS who transported her to the Montgomery County Jail in the charge of driving while intoxicated third or more. This was not her first for the year. On February 18, 2021, she was charged with driving while intoxicated, possession of a controlled substance, and escape when she fled from the deputy after she was in custody. That case is still pending as she has been out on bond since February 19, 2021. In addition, she had prior DWI charges in Montgomery County on January 8, 2015, where she was sentenced to 3-days in jail, and on May 20, 2019, she was again arrested for DWI. She was charged with DWI Second a Class A Misdemeanor. On February 10th, 2020 the case was changed to a Class B Misdemeanor and she was given a $1200 fine and 3-days in jail. She has a lengthy record. On July 6, 2013, she was arrested for theft at Walmart which was later dismissed. In 2015 she was arrested in Humble for the robbery of an individual. On April 12, 2014, she was arrested possession when she was found to have Carisoprodol, hydrocodone. That case was dismissed and she was sent to Rehab. Then on July 22, 2017, she was arrested again for possession of a controlled substance. That case was also dismissed and she entered a substance abuse program.
