Just before 3 a.m. Thursday morning MCHD and Woodlands Fire Department responded to a reported major accident on Harpers Landing at Trade Center Parkway near the Harpers Landing subdivision.
When they arrived they found a male entrapped in a Ford Focus. He was transported to Memorial Hermann Woodlands in stable condition. Before he was transported he admitted that he had been drinking at 3 establishments in the area prior to the crash.
The driver of the 18-wheeler owner by the Martin Brower Company said he was pulling out of the driveway of the company warehouse facility. He stated he did not see the vehicle approaching.
The Focus slammed into the rear axle of the truck twisting it on the frame.
It was not raining at the time of the crash.
The Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office worked the accident.
