The Mega-Millions Jackpot for tonight has now increased to $640 million dollars. This is a new record for the lottery and up almost $100 million since Thursday.
Many people are starting to pool there money for a better chance of winning., Gary Grief, executive director of Texas Lottery Commission, said he encourages pools, provided that, as with all lottery wagering, they are conducted responsibly. There is a warning though, "My advice is to formalize those agreements unless you are dealing with people you completely trust – and trust, potentially, with hundreds of millions," said Grief, who also serves as lead director of Mega Millions.
Texas has been involved with the Mega Millions for almost 10 years. In that 10 years there have been eight Texans that turned into millionaires. Willliam Kiefer of Katy won $144 million in January of 2010.
GOOD LUCK !!!
