Just after 8 pm Saturday night, Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office received a call for a theft at Ulta in the Valley Ranch Center. Two black females with faces covered were said to have cleared an entire aisle of over $3000 worth of fragrances. A description of a silver Toyota was broadcast to all units. A New Caney DPS Trooper was on US 59 when he spotted a silver Mercedes on the southbound feeder near Northpark. One occupant had was dressed as described in the theft. As the Trooper attempted to stop them. the vehicle fled down the feeder. A pursuit ensued as the females started driving down the wrong side of the feeder, going head-on at other vehicles through a gas station parking lot and then west on Northpark on the wrong side of the road. As DPS stayed behind the vehicle a Texas Game Warden was paralleling them on Northpark. The Game Warden with his 4-wheel drive truck then crossed the median and was able to cut the vehicle off. Both females fled out of the vehicle on foot at Kingwood Place. DPS, MCSO Deputies, and the Game Warden took both into custody. The contents of what they stole were located in the front seat of the vehicle. Both females were taken into custody.
Dominique Raqul Turner, 32, of 3542 Ewing in Dallas is charged with evading arrest and theft over $2500 with two or more previous convictions. She was given a $750 bond on the evading charge but denied a bond on the theft charge. Turner had previously been charged with a theft in Dallas in 2007 for which she was given 6 months in jail. She was also given 8 years for an aggravated assault causing serious bodily injury in 2006.
Joycelyn Anntrese Green, 32, of 2222 Tosca Lane in Dallas is also charged with theft over $2500 and evading arrest. She was given a $3000 bond on each.
