LIBERTY COUNTY FATAL MOTORCYCLE CRASH

LIBERTY COUNTY – Texas Department of Public Safety (DPS) Troopers are investigating a two-vehicle fatality crash on State Highway 321, about 10 miles south of Dayton. The preliminary crash investigation indicates on Saturday, September 11, 2021, at approximately 9:54 p.m., a large group of motorcycles was traveling south. The group began to pull over onto the shoulder to stop. The rider of a 2007 Harley Davidson failed to control speed and struck 2009, and 2020 Harley Davidson before coming to rest. The rider of the 2007 Harley Davidson, 62-year-old Lewis Eugene Kudlemyer of Dayton, Texas, was transported to Memorial Hermann Downtown in stable condition. The passenger, 59-year-old Terri Lynne Kudlemyer of Dayton, Texas, was transported to Memorial Hermann Downtown in critical condition. On September 13, 2021, at approximately 12:48 a.m., Terri Kudlemyer was pronounced deceased by Dr. Islam. The rider of the 2009 Harley Davidson, 36-year-old Earl Thrasher of Highlands, Texas, was not injured. The rider of the 2020 Harley Davidson, 26-year-old River Goodwin of Channelview, Texas, was not injured.
