District 1 – Lt. Jim Fleming (North County)
A 40 year old female from Willis was arrested at 2:37am, February 22, in the 13500 block of Rogers Road by Deputy C. Santoro for a manufacture, delivery controlled substance warrant and a delivery marijuana warrant, both out of Montgomery County. The Deputy had received information on the female’s location. The female was transported to jail.
A 46 year old male from Willis was arrested at 7:44pm, February 22, in the 10100 block of Barberry by Deputy S. Degner for a DWI motion to revoke warrant out of Montgomery County. The Deputy had received information on the male’s location. The male was transported to jail.
On February 22, Sgt. J. Varnell and Deputy A. Cross observed a male stumbling across the street in the 2200 block of N. Frazier. The Deputies were able to detain him as several vehicles had passed him while he was in the street. The 48 year old male from Conroe was found to be intoxicated and was arrested at 11:45pm and taken to jail.
On February 23, Deputy K. Underwood stopped a vehicle on a traffic violation in the 16000 block of Southern Pines. The Deputy had observed the vehicle swerving from lane to lane on Gulf Coast Road. The male driver was observed to be intoxicated. The 32 year old male from Conroe was arrested at 1:24am, charged with DWI 2nd and transported to jail.
On February 25, Deputy K. Albritton was notified of a family violence assault by threat call on Emerson Circle. The Deputy met with a female complainant who advised her husband came home angry and threatened to kill her. He had threatened to kill her on 2/24/11 and burn her body. He came home on this date carrying a gas can and threatened her and she felt he was going to follow through with the threat. The 46 year old male from Conroe was arrested at 2:45pm and charged with assault by threat and also a Montgomery County JP 4 warrant. The male was taken to jail.
On February 26, Deputy K. Underwood stopped a vehicle on a traffic violation in the 10500 block of Dillon Drive. Upon speaking with the male driver it was learned the male was operating the vehicle with an invalid driver’s license and no proof of financial responsibility. The male driver had a prior conviction for this offense. The 26 year old male from Willis was arrested at 12:27am and transported to jail.
A 21 year old male from New Caney was arrested at 3:10am, February 26, in the 13200 block of Dave Moore Road by Deputy K. Underwood for a failure to appear warrant out of Montgomery County. The Deputy stopped the vehicle for a traffic violation and suspicion of theft. The male was taken to jail.
On February 26, Deputy J. Kader was sent to the area of Longstreet and FM 1097 to assist Deputy A. Terrell on a call involving two males fighting. One of the males had left the scene and was stopped by Deputy Kader. During the investigation a small amount of marijuana was located in the vehicle. The 18 year old male from Willis was arrested at 1:58pm and transported to jail for possession of marijuana.
On February 26, Deputies D. Pugh stopped a vehicle on a traffic violation in the 10600 block of FM 2432. The male driver was found to be operating the vehicle with an invalid driver’s license. The male had a prior conviction for this offense. The 37 year old male from Conroe was arrested at 11:30pm and transported to jail.
On February 27, Deputies D. Pugh and K. Berger were dispatched to Bronte Court for an aggravated assault. The Deputies met with a female complainant who was the mother of the male suspect. The female advised her son was in his room with a gun and had been beating holes in the walls and breaking furniture. He had earlier thrown a hunting knife at his mother that missed her and stuck in the wall near her. He had threatened to kill her while the Deputies were on location. The 19 year old male from Willis was arrested at 1:56am and taken to jail.
On February 27, Deputies A. Booher and A. Cross were sent to the area of Willow and Oak Lane in reference to an accident. A female involved in the accident had fled the scene on foot and was later located and identified as the driver. It was learned the female had taken the vehicle from a service station nearby and drove off as the owner was coming out of the store. The female crashed the vehicle into another vehicle and fled. The 24 year old female from Conroe was arrested at 3:02pm, charged with unauthorized use of a motor vehicle and also a forgery warrant out of Montgomery County. The female was transported to jail.
On February 27, Deputy D. Pugh responded to the 9100 block of Crystal Spring Drive in reference to an accident with the vehicle involved having left the scene. The vehicle had struck a fence. The vehicle leaving the scene was leaking a liquid. The Deputy located the vehicle and the male driver was found to be intoxicated. The 40 year old male from Conroe was arrested at 11:20pm, charged with DWI and transported to jail.
District 2 – Lt. Brady Fitzgerald (South County)
On February 21, 2011, Sgt. Russell arrested a 32-year-old male from Onalaska after a traffic stop on Rayford Road. The suspect was found to have an active suspension of his license for alcohol related offenses. The suspect was taken into custody and transported to the Montgomery County Jail charged with Driving While License Invalid.
On February 21, 2011, Deputy Hardin was dispatched to 1025 Sawdust Road in reference to a Theft. The suspect had taken video games from Wal-Mart. Deputy Hardin located the suspect a few blocks away while patrolling the area. The suspect, 29-year-old male from Spring, was detained and during the course of the investigation, was found to be in possession of .26 ounces of marijuana. The suspect was taken into custody and transported to the Montgomery County Jail, charged with Possession of Marijuana.
On February 23, 2011, Deputy Barber observed a vehicle traveling south on Riley Fuzzel Road that was failing to maintain a single lane of travel, and almost causing a collision with the vehicle in the next lane. Deputy Barber conducted a traffic stop and made contact with the driver, 50-year-old female from Spring. The driver had a strong odor of an alcoholic beverage emitting from her breath as she spoke, and had trouble walking or standing without stumbling or swaying. After the conclusion of the Standardized Field Sobriety Tests, the driver was taken into custody and transported to the Montgomery County Jail charged with Driving While Intoxicated.
On February 22, 2011, Deputy Jobe was traveling south on the IH-45 frontage road when he observed an EMS unit that had stopped for a single vehicle accident. Deputy Jobe noticed a strong odor of marijuana coming from the vehicle. During the course of the investigation, Deputy Jobe located .05 ounces of marijuana and other drug paraphernalia. The suspect, 23-year-old female from Spring, was taken into custody and transported to the Montgomery County Jail after receiving medical treatment for the accident.
On February 26, 2011, Deputy Mitchell responded to a Welfare Check at 1511 Rayford Road. Deputy Mitchell met with the suspect, 57-year-old male from Galveston, and determined that the suspect was intoxicated. The suspect was taken into custody and transported to the Montgomery County Jail charged with Public Intoxication.
District 3 – Lt. Darrel Conn (East County)
On 2/22/11 around 0630 hours Deputy Azwell observed a suspicious vehicle parked behind a business in the 20300 block of Hwy 59. As soon as the driver saw Deputy Azwell he left the parking lot headed south on the feeder road. Deputy Azwell initiated a traffic stop on the vehicle and the driver appeared to be very nervous and had no explanation of why he was parked, hidden behind a closed business before daylight. The driver gave consent to search his vehicle where it revealed a brown paper bag that contained two glass pipes and two clear plastic baggies that contained what tested positive for methamphetamine. The male was arrested and charged with Felony Possession of Methamphetamine and transported to jail.
On 2/23/11 Deputy Logan was dispatched to a 911 hang up at the Porter Wal-Mart. While at the Walmart Logan was flagged down by loss prevention employees who stated they observed a male in the store that matched the description of a known male with a warrant. Deputy Logan observed the male exiting the store and identified him where it was found the male did in fact have a warrant for his arrest. The warrant was confirmed and the male was detained and searched. Upon searching him he was also found to be in possession of a marijuana cigarette in his pants pocket. The male was transported to jail for the warrant and an additional charge of Possession of Marijuana.
On 2/23/11 Sgt. Wienke was dispatched to Allendale Dr. on a Family Violence call. Upon arrival it was determined a 38 year old male assaulted his brother by punching him about the head and face area with a closed fist causing the brother severe pain and bleeding from the mouth. The male was arrested and charged with Assault/Family Violence, a class "A" Misdemeanor.
On 2/24/11 Deputy S. Ortiz stopped a vehicle near the area of Loop 494/Era Lane for a defective headlight. A small bag of marijuana was found inside the center console of the vehicle. The driver was arrested and charged with Possession of Marijuana.
On 2/25/11 Deputy Amstutz observed a vehicle commit several traffic violations. After stopping the vehicle the driver was determined to be operating the vehicle on a suspended driver’s license. The driver was taken into custody for Driving While License Suspended and several open warrants.
On 2/26/11 Deputy Azwell responded to a Warrant service call in the 19700 block of N. White Oak Drive. Contact was made with a female and a male on location and both were found to have open warrants for their arrest. The warrants were confirmed and both were transported to jail in Conroe.
On 3/1/11 Deputy Ortiz was dispatched to a Theft (Shoplifter) at the Porter Wal-Mart. Upon arrival Deputy Ortiz learned two female subjects concealed numerous items in their purse and then exited the store without paying for them. Loss Prevention employees contacted the females (one adult and one juvenile) and had them return to the Loss Prevention office. The amount of the merchandise was over $50 dollars therefore both females were arrested and transported to jail in Conroe.
District 4 – Lt. David Park (West County)
On February 26th Deputy Tavarez was dispatched to Foxwood Drive in reference to a disturbance. Upon arrival the Deputy was advised that the suspect involved had left and was walking down the road. Upon locating the suspect the Deputy could detect a strong odor of an alcoholic beverage. The suspect had a hard time maintaining his balance and had dirt on him where he had fallen into a ditch. Due to the suspect was taken into custody for Public Intoxication and transported to the Montgomery County Jail.
On February 24th Deputy Irvine was dispatched the 12000 block of Maple in Pinehurst in reference to a Warrant Service – Criminal Mischief $1,500 Bond. Upon arrival Deputy Irvine made contact with a 64 year old female subject and detained her for the warrant. The subject was transported to the Montgomery County Jail.
On February 24th Deputy Crandell was dispatched to Mike’s Country Store on Nichols Sawmill in reference to a Theft. The suspect entered the store wearing a brown and black hat, gray long sleeve shirt, black pants and black shoes. The suspect was a white male around 24 years old. The suspect took an 18 pack of Bud Light beer without paying and exited the store and got into a Ford Focus. The Complainant tried to recover the beer, but the suspect started pushed away and then fled in the vehicle. This case has been referred to CID for investigation.
On February 24th Deputy Provenzano was dispatched to the Hazy Hollow Subdivision in reference to a suspicious vehicle. Upon arrival the Deputy met with the two male subjects sitting in a parked passenger car on Cherokee Rose Lane. When asked by the Deputy what they were doing, they both admitted to have been smoking Marijuana. Inside the vehicle the Deputy located a small joint in the ashtray and a Ziploc baggie containing Marijuana in the center console of the vehicle. Both subjects were taken into custody and charged with Possession of Marijuana.
On February 24th Deputy Corley was dispatched to the Spirit Outlet located in the 17500 block of FM 1774 in reference to a Theft. Upon arrival Deputy met with the Complainant who was able to provide video footage of a white female stealing a bottle of Grey Goose valued at $65. The Complainant also obtained the suspect’s License Plate number identifying her. This case is currently active as the suspect is being sought.
On February 22nd Deputy Overbay was dispatched to the 32000 block of Hwy 249 in reference to a Warrant Service. Upon arrival Deputy Overbay made contact with a 25 year old male subject identified and confirmed through Dispatch as wanted with two outstanding warrants, one for Parole Violation – No Bond and the other for Failure to Appear – $2,000 Bond. The subject was taken into custody and transported to the Montgomery County Jail.
On February 22nd Sergeant Hernandez while on patrol observed a black Chevrolet Impala traveling westbound on FM 1488 at a high rate of speed – 80 mph in a posted 45 mph. The Sergeant initiated a traffic stop on the vehicle and made contact with the driver a 29 year old male subject. A female passenger in the vehicle was checked through Dispatch and found to have two outstanding warrants for Assault Causing Bodily Injury – $10,000 Bond. The female subject was taken into custody for the warrants and transported to the Montgomery County Jail.
On February 22nd Deputy Corley was dispatched to Los Encinos Ct in Magnolia in reference to an Assault Family Violence. Upon arrival the Deputy met with Complainant who advised he had asked his son to return his mother’s computer and do his homework. The Complainant’s 15 year old son had gotten angry and leaped over a table and punched him in the mouth. Deputy Corley was unable to locate the suspect, but later that evening the Complainant contacted the District 4 office and advised his son had returned home. Deputy Herman went to the Complainant’s residence and took the suspect into custody. The Suspect was charged with Assault Family Violence and transported to Juvenile Detention Center in Conroe.
District 5 – Lt. Gary Welch (Northwest County)
On 02/23/11 at approximately 0300 hours Deputy J. Davis was dispatched to the 19700 blk. of Hwy 105W in reference to a family violence call. Deputy Davis arrived on location and met with the Complainant. The Complainant advised that she got into a verbal argument with her daughter, and her daughter threatened her with bodily injury. The daughter was placed into custody for Assault by Threat to prevent any further violence and transported to MCSO jail without incident.
On 02/26/11 at approximately 0121 hours Deputy D. Garner was traveling eastbound in the 14500 blk. of Hwy 105W, when he observed a green GMC truck exit a private parking lot. Deputy Garner advised the vehicle entered the turn lane going eastbound and then entered the main lane without using the signal to indicate his lane change. Deputy Garner advised that the vehicle almost struck his patrol vehicle. He advised that he conducted a traffic stop on the vehicle, and at the conclusion of the investigation, it was determined that the male driver was under the influence. The male was placed into custody and transported to MCSO jail.
On 02/27/11 at approximately 0327 hours Deputy D. Garner was dispatched to Mystic Circle in reference to a family violence call. Deputy Garner arrived on location and met with the Complainant who advised that her husband had been drinking all day, and he became verbally abusive towards her. She advised that she went to bed, and was awakened by her husband screaming again. She advised that her husband made unwanted contact with her several times. Upon the conclusion of the investigation, the male was placed into custody for Assault by Contact / Family Violence and placed into custody.
District 6 – Lt. David Dottei (Woodlands)
On February 21, 2011, Deputy Veith responded to a Welfare Check at 4901 Research Forest. Upon arrival, a subject, 17-year-old male from Conroe, was in an ambulance and was very lethargic and unable to communicate. Marijuana was found on the 17 year old and also on two 18 year old males who was on the scene. Both were transported to the Montgomery County Jail.
On February 24, 2011, Deputy Prince went en route to 1550 Lake Robbins drive to assist Deputy Conklin with a minor motor vehicle accident. The suspect, 28-year-old male from Cleveland had a strong odor of an alcoholic beverage. Deputy Prince conducted several Standardized Field Sobriety Tests with the suspect and at the conclusion determined the suspect did not have normal or physical faculties due to the consumption of alcoholic beverages. The suspect was taken into custody for Driving While Intoxicated and transported to the Montgomery County Jail.
On February 24, 2011, Deputy Conklin responded to a Disturbance call at Water Way Avenue. Upon arrival, Deputy Conklin observed two intoxicated males coming down the stairs, one of which was bleeding from his hand. Deputy Conklin was advised by witnesses that they had been causing the disturbance. The injured suspect, 26-year-old male from Houston had punched and broken a glass door. The suspect was taken into custody, charged with Criminal Mischief and Public Intoxication. The second suspect, 43-year-old male from The Woodlands, was also arrested for Public Intoxication. Both were transported to the Montgomery County Jail.
The following Shoplifting Arrests were reported:
2/20 – Deputy Aguilar arrested a 24-year-old female from Conroe for Theft at 3040 College Park Drive. The suspect attempted to take $94.84 worth of merchandise from Wal-Mart. The suspect, and a friend, switched the barcodes on items prior to checking out. The suspect was taken into custody and transported to the Montgomery County Jail without incident.
2/22 – Deputy Houstoun arrested a 20 year old male and an 18-year-old female, both from Conroe, for Theft at 1201 Lake Woodlands. The suspects attempted to take $105.00 worth of merchandise from Urban Outfitters. The suspects were taken into custody and transported to the Montgomery County Jail.
2/23 – Deputy Cogdill arrested a 21-year-old male from Willis for Theft at 3040 College Park Drive. The suspect attempted to take merchandise valued at $688.00 from Wal-Mart. The suspect was taken into custody and transported to the Montgomery County Jail without incident.
2/24 – Deputy Godden arrested a 16-year-old female from Spring for Theft at 1201 Lake Woodlands. The suspect and friends, attempted to take merchandise valued at $308.81 from Dillard’s, by placing items in a backpack carried by the suspect. The suspect was taken into custody and transported to the Montgomery County Juvenile Detention Facility without incident. Her friends fled the scene when confronted by Loss Prevention Officers.
2/25 – Deputy Weatherford arrested an 18-year old male from Houston for Theft at 1201 Lake Woodlands. The suspect attempted to take $111.00 worth of merchandise from JC Penney’s. The suspect was taken into custody and transported to the Montgomery County Jail.
2/26 – Deputy Evans arrested 36 year old female from Magnolia for Theft at 10001 Woodlands Parkway. The suspect placed $72.00 worth of merchandise in her purse and passed all points of sale without attempting to purchase the concealed items. When approached by Wal-Mart Loss Prevention officers the suspect ran across the parking lot throwing the items taken on the ground as she ran. Deputy Evans located the suspect in an apartment complex nearby and returned her to the scene. The suspect was transported to the Montgomery County Jail without incident. Charges were upgraded to State Jail Felony due to previous Theft Convictions.
2/26 – Deputy Niquette and Deputy Clifton arrested a 23-year-old female from Spring for Theft at 3040 College Park Drive. The suspect attempted to take merchandise valued at $179.33 from Wal-Mart. The suspect was taken into custody and transported to the Montgomery County Jail without incident.
