MCSO BLOTTER 7/3/2013 DISTRICT 3–EAST COUNTY

On June 25, 2013, Deputy Voris was at the Jack in the Box in New Caney investigation a theft. He heard a crash and saw that an oversized box truck was in the drive through and had struck the clearance sign. The deputy stopped the driver and told him that he would have to back up to avoid damaging the store. He told the driver to not move his truck and that he would return to investigate further. As he walked back to his patrol car, the deputy heard a crash and saw the truck driving forward and causing damage to the building. The driver fled in the truck and after a short pursuit was arrested for DWI.

On June 27, 2013, Deputy Aguirre was dispatched to a Splendora residence for a disturbance. On arrival he learned that two sisters-in-law had been out at a bar and had been in an argument on the way home. During the argument the 52 year old female struck her sister-in-law several times. When they arrived home one woman went into her home to call police. The other woman threw a cement block through her window. She was arrested for assault and criminal mischief.

On June 27, 2013, Deputy O’Connor was dispatched to the Porter Wal-Mart for a theft where the suspects had fled in a red truck. The 39 year old male and a 41 year old female had been seen by loss prevention concealing items from the store and were stopped outside. The couple fled on foot and ran to their truck and drove away. Dispatch aired an attempt to locate for the truck and
it was located and stopped on Hwy 59 by a Roman Forest Police Officer. The couple was arrested for felony theft and the merchandise was returned to the store.

On June 28, 2013, Deputy Azwell was dispatched to the Porter Wal-Mart for a theft. He learned that a 44 year old male had been observed concealing several DVD movies and was stopped by loss prevention. The male was arrested and charged with misdemeanor theft.

On June 29, 2013, Deputy Azwell was dispatched to the Porter Wal-Mart for a theft. He learned that a 20 year old female had been seen concealing several items and had left the store without paying. She was arrested and charged with misdemeanor theft.

On June 29, 2013, Deputy Voris was dispatched to a New Caney residence for a domestic disturbance. He learned that the couple had an argument which escalated into violence and the 39 year old male had attempted to strangle his 30 year old girlfriend. The male was arrested and charged with felony assault.

On June 30, 2013, Deputies Bartoskewitz and Hardin were dispatched to attempt to locate a vehicle which had fled the scene of a crash. They located the vehicle entering a neighborhood in Porter and attempted to stop the vehicle. The vehicle continued about one mile driving approximately two miles per hour while refusing to stop. The 37 year old male driver finally stopped and was arrested for DWI.
