MCSO BLOTTER-DISTRICT 6-WOODLANDS

District 6 – Lt. David Dottei (Woodlands)

On March 29, Deputy Mathis was dispatched to 2301 North Millbend, in reference to a criminal mischief complaint. Two suspects, a 40 year old male and a 32 year old female, were arrested after damaging chairs, a marble desk, two computers, 2 telephones and a rock wall. Damages was estimated at $1500.00. The suspects were charged with criminal mischief and transported to the Montgomery County Jail without incident.

On March 31, Deputy Hons and Deputy Cherry were dispatched to 1201 Lake Woodlands, in reference to a theft call. The Sunglass Hut at the Woodlands Mall reported the suspect, later identified as a 36 year old female, had selected a pair of sunglasses, valued at $219.95, and concealed them within her purse before leaving the store without attempting to purchase the merchandise. The suspect was located in the mall, subsequently taken into custody and charged with theft. The suspect was transported to the Montgomery County Jail without incident.

On April 1, Deputy Jackson conducted a traffic stop in the 11400 block of Timberwild Street. The driver, a 21 year old male, was found to have marijuana in his vehicle. The suspect was taken into custody for possession of marijuana and transported to the Montgomery County Jail without incident.

On April 3, Deputy Wagner was notified by Market Street Security of a shoplifter that fled the area and provided vehicle information. Deputy Wagner located the vehicle a short distance away and conducted a traffic stop at the intersection of Lake Robbins and Woodloch Forest. During the course of the investigation, several gift cards from different stores were located, including the $200 gift card taken from HEB. The suspect, a 25 year old male, was taken into custody, charged with theft, and transported to the Montgomery County Jail without incident. A passenger in the vehicle, a 27 year old male, was arrested on an outstanding warrant for failure to appear.

On April 4, Deputy Forman was dispatched to a shoplifter in custody call at 1201 Lake Woodlands. The suspect, an 18 year old female, attempted to take $509.50 worth of merchandise from the Macy’s Department Store. The suspect was taken into custody for theft and transported to the Montgomery County Jail without incident.

On April 4, Deputy Cherry and Deputy Hons were dispatched to a one car accident on Player Bend. The driver of the vehicle, an 18 year old male, was observed to have blood shot eyes and was unsure of where he was. At the conclusion of an investigation, the driver was taken into custody for driving while intoxicated and transported to the Montgomery County Jail without incident.
