MCSO BLOTTER FOR WEEK ENDING 03-30-11

District 1 – Lt. Jim Fleming (North County)

On March 21, Deputy S. Squier was notified of a family violence assault call on Old Humble Pipeline Road. The Deputy met with a male complainant who advised he and his son had been in a verbal and physical altercation. The son had struck the father on the face and head areas and wrestled him down and choked him. The 17 year old male from Conroe was arrested. As the male was being taken out his brother began yelling and making threats toward the Deputies on scene and that he would burn the house down. The 16 year old male from Conroe was also arrested and charged with terroristic threat. The 17 year old was taken to jail and the 16 year old was taken to juvenile detention.

A 19 year old male from Katy was arrested at 5:23am, March 21, in the 11000 block of FM 830 by Deputy C. Santoro for a theft of property warrant out of Montgomery County. The Deputy was investigating a suspicious person call. The male was taken to jail.

On March 21, Sgt. D. Bonner was assisting Detectives on an investigation in the 1300 block of E. Davis. Two males were being detained in reference to possible stolen items. During an inventory of their vehicle marijuana was found. The two males, one age 18, from Houston, and the other, age 17, from Conroe were arrested at 9:00am and transported to jail.

A 27 year old male from Conroe was arrested at 4:30pm, March 21, in the 13300 block of Young Lane by Deputy D. Pugh for a criminal mischief warrant and an assault causes bodily injury warrant, both out of Montgomery County. The Deputy was investigating a disturbance. The male was taken to jail.

On March 22, Deputy S. Squier stopped a vehicle on a traffic violation in the area of Browder Trailer and Plaster Circle. The female driver was found to be operating the vehicle with a suspended driver’s license. The female had prior convictions for the same offense. The 27 year old female from Willis was arrested at 2:24am, charged with driving with license invalid and transported to jail.

On March 22, Deputy C. Santoro stopped a vehicle on a traffic violation in the 1200 block of W FM 1097. The male driver was found to be operating the vehicle with a suspended driver’s license. The 42 year old male from Willis was arrested at 3:29am and transported to jail.

A 48 year old male from Conroe was arrested at 7:25pm, March 22, in the 15400 block of Holly Lane by Deputy K. Christiansen for an assault warrant and a failure to appear warrant, both out of Montgomery County. The Deputy was investigating a theft call. The male was taken to jail.

A 21 year old male from Conroe was arrested at 8:00pm, March 22, in the 12700 block of Roy Harris Loop by Deputy D. Pugh for four traffic warrants out of Montgomery County Pct. 4. The Deputy was investigating a disturbance. The male was taken to jail.

On March 23, Deputy K. Underwood was sent to Tree Monkey Road in reference to a 9-1-1 call. On arrival the Deputy was met by a male on location that stated no one had called from there. The wife came out and during the investigation said she had been assaulted by her husband and that he had been beating her. The female had fresh lacerations on her arms, face and legs and a bruised chest from a previous assault. The 56 year old male from Conroe was arrested at12:53am and transported to jail.

On March 25, Deputy K. Underwood stopped a vehicle on a traffic violation in the 12400 block of Lake Conroe Bay Road. The female driver was found to be intoxicated. The 45 year old female from Willis was arrested at 1:29am, charged with DWI and taken to jail.

On March 25, Deputy K. Berger stopped a vehicle on a traffic violation in the area of Loop 336 and Stewart’s Forest. The male driver was found to be intoxicated. The 29 year old male from Conroe was arrested at 10:58pm, charged with DWI and taken to jail.

An 18 year old male from Conroe was arrested at 11:45pm, March 25, in the 15000 block of Austin Road by Sgt. C. Rogers for a criminal trespass warrant out of Montgomery County. The Deputy was investigating a disturbance. The male was taken to jail.

A 41 year old male from Conroe was arrested at 4:02am, March 26, in the 100 block of Crockett Martin by Deputy S. Squier for two traffic warrants out of Montgomery County Pct. 4. The Deputy was investigating a suspicious vehicle. The male was taken to jail.

On March 27, Deputy C. Santoro was sent to Kinsman Road for a family violence assault call. The Deputy met with a male complainant who stated he and his girlfriend got into an argument over a text message she had received. She hit him several times on the face drawing blood from his nose and forehead. The 36 year old female from Cleveland was arrested at 4:02am, charged with assault and transported to jail.

On March 27, Deputy K. Berger was notified of a disturbance on Lakewood Drive. Deputies Berger and K. Underwood located the suspects involved. A 22 year old female from Onalaska and two males, ages 32 and 41, both from Montgomery, were arrested at 6:12am, charged with public intoxication and taken to jail.

On March 27, Deputy J. Hodges, was dispatched to the 9000 block of FM 1484, the Lone Star Convention Center, in reference to stolen weapons. A gun show was taking place and four individuals were detained in reference to being in possession of stolen firearms. The four males, two 20 year olds, from Stafford, one 19 year old and one 20 year old from Wallis, were arrested at 3:37pm for possession of stolen firearms and taken to jail.

A 48 year old male from Willis was arrested at 11:40pm, March 27, in the area of Hwy 105 and Meador Road by Sgt. J. Varnell for two Willis PD warrants. The male had been stopped on a traffic violation. The male was transported to jail.

District 2 – Lt. Brady Fitzgerald (South County)

On March 23, 2011, Deputy Everton was in the area of Glen Eagles and observed two males that met the description of suspects from an earlier call where one of the suspects was armed with a pistol. Deputy Everton attempted to make eye contact with the males and they fled on foot. Deputy Everton released K9 Ranger and chased the suspects through several yards before they ultimately gave up. The pistol was located in one of the yards the suspects had run through attempting to evade from Deputy Everton. The suspects, both 17-year-old males from Conroe, were taken into custody, charged with Evading Arrest. One suspect had an additional charge of Unlawful Carry of a Weapon. Both were transported to the Montgomery County Jail without incident.

On March 25, 2011, Deputy Zavorski was dispatched to a family violence in progress on Valleywood Dr. The caller advised that her boyfriend was drunk and had two guns and was threatening to harm himself. Upon arrival Deputy Zavorski made contact with the boyfriend and found the gun in a basket of clothes. The boyfriend admitted to being intoxicated but stated he had contacted his father to come help him move out. He was very cooperative and respectful to officers on scene. The caller, 23-year-old female, was taken into custody for filing a False Alarm or Report, for giving dispatchers false information, in retaliation for her boyfriend leaving. She was transported to the Montgomery County Jail without incident.

On March 25, 2011, Deputy Fruge was dispatched to a disturbance in progress at 25650 Interstate 45 North. Upon arrival a 24 year old male was standing on the front porch with a bowl containing marijuana. The disturbance call was due to an argument between the suspect and his girlfriend; she wanted the marijuana out of the house. The suspect was taken into custody charged with Possession of Marijuana. The suspect was transported to the Montgomery County Jail without incident.

On March 27, 2011, Deputy Zavorski responded to a Criminal Trespass call in the Lake Windcrest Subdivision. The complainant stated that a 17-year-old female and a 19-year-old female both from Magnolia had attempted to break into his house. The complainant’s son had recently broken up with one of the suspects and she had been told not to call or come to the house anymore. The suspects were both taken into custody for Criminal Trespass and transported to the Montgomery County Jail without incident.

On March 27, 2011, Deputy Knight was dispatched to a residence on Winter Song for a Family Violence report. Witnesses stated that the suspect, 30-year-old male from The Woodlands, had drug a female neighbor into his home. Forced entry was made into the home and the suspect was taken into custody. The suspect was arrested and charged with Obstruction of Justice/Retaliation and Kidnapping.

District 3 – Lt. Darrel Conn (East County)

On 3/25/11 Deputy Birch was dispatched to the intersection of Pickering Rd. /FM 1485 for an Assault/Family Violence. Upon arrival Birch learned a female was arguing with her husband as she was gathering some of her belongings to leave. As she was doing so the husband grabbed her arms and threw her to the ground. The female then left the house on foot and as she was walking down the street her husband drove by, stopped, grabbed her again and threw her down. The male was arrested and transported to jail for Assault/Family Violence.

On 3/25/11 Deputy Amstutz was dispatched to the Adult Probation Department for a warrant service call. Upon arrival Deputy Amstutz found a male that turned himself in on a Probation Violation warrant. The warrant was confirmed and the male was transported to jail.

On 3/26/11 Deputy Guion was patrolling FM 1314 when he observed a vehicle with an obstructed plate and the vehicle was smoking heavily. After stopping the vehicle Deputy Guion found the driver had multiple suspensions on his driver’s license. After confirming the driver also had a previous actual conviction for Driving with a Suspended License he was arrested and charged again for Driving While License Suspended.

On 3/26/11 Deputy Walker went to Wagon Wheel Court for a warrant service. Upon arrival Walker met with a male on location that was found to have an active warrant out of Polk County. The warrant was confirmed and the male was transported to jail without incident.

On 3/27/11 Deputy B. Dunn was dispatched to a Suspicious Person in the 27200 block of Kings Manor Drive. Upon arrival Dunn made contact with a male on location. After checking the male Dunn located an outstanding arrest warrant for the male through Precinct 4 Constable’s Office. The warrant was confirmed and the male was transported to jail.

On 3/28/11 Deputy B. Dunn conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle at the intersection of FM 1314/Highway 59. After identifying the driver he was found to have an active warrant for his arrest out of Orange County. After receiving confirmation from Orange County the male was arrested and transported to jail.

On 3/29/11 Corporal D. LeBeau was dispatched to a Disturbance call. After arriving and speaking to a male that was causing the disturbance with his Mother, Deputy LeBeau found the Mother wanted her Son to leave her property. After identifying the male it was discovered the male had an active warrant through Precinct 4 Constable’s Office. The male was arrested and transported to jail without incident.

On 3/29/11 Deputy Logan responded to a Welfare Check at the Post Office on Partner’s Way. Upon arrival Logan found a male that said he had been asleep in the parking lot since the night before. The male then said he wasn’t sure how long he had been there and that he ingested several Hydrocodone pills prior to his arrival at the Post Office. He had very slurred speech and had trouble comprehending what the Deputies on scene were saying. The male was then arrested and transported to jail.

District 4 – Lt. David Park (West County)

On March 27th Deputy Provenzano was dispatched to the Walnut Springs Subdivision in reference to a Family Violence. Deputy Provenzano located the subject walking down the side of a public roadway with a beer in his hand. The subject had red blood shot eyes and a strong odor of an alcoholic beverage coming from his breath and person. He was not sure of his location. Due to his intoxicated state Deputy Provenzano placed him into custody for Public Intoxication and transported him to the Montgomery County Jail.

On March 26th Sergeant Hernandez and Deputy Corley while on patrol observed a female subject staggering around the parking lot of the Chevron Corner Store located in the 32344 block of SH 249. Upon checking on the welfare of the subject a strong odor of alcohol on her breath was detected. After a portable breath test was administered, the subject was taken into custody for Public Intoxication and transported to female booking at the Montgomery County Jail.

On March 25th Deputy Provenzano was dispatched to a Criminal Mischief call in the Dogwood Hills subdivision. Upon driving down the road the Deputy observed two male subjects walking, one carrying a rifle. Deputy Provenzano detained and one subject had Brass Knuckles. The Deputy placed him into custody for Possession of a Prohibited Weapon.

On March 24th Deputy Mittag was dispatched to the Chevron Station in the 32000 block of FM 249 in reference to a Civil Matter between a 43 year old male subject and his wife. Upon arrival the Deputy met with the male subject and smelled an odor of an alcoholic beverage on his breath and person. The subject had trouble maintaining is balance and admitted that he had consumed alcohol. The subject was placed into custody and transported to the South County Jail.

On March 22nd Deputy Irvine received information from Harris County of an outstanding warrant for a 31 year old male residing in the Magnolia area. Deputy Irvine went to the 29000 block of Marvin Gardens in Magnolia and made contact with the subject. After confirming the warrants for Non-Payment of Child Support and Theft by Check, Deputy Irvine placed the subject into custody and transported him to the South County Jail.

On March 22nd Deputy Tavarez was dispatched to the 29000 block of Campwood in Magnolia in reference to Terroristic Threats. Upon arrival Deputy Tavarez met with the Complainant who advised that she had arrived home from work and her husband a 40 year old male subject was intoxicated and after a verbal altercation she had left and went over to the neighbors. Her husband had come over to the neighbors demanding money and threatening her and their 11 year old son. Due to the subject’s state of intoxication he was placed into custody for Public Intoxication and Assault by Threat Family Violence and transported to the Montgomery County Jail

On March 21st Deputy Durbin responded to a call in the Hazy Hollow subdivision in reference to a Family Violence. While on scene investigating the incident the Deputy was advised by dispatch of a warrant for Criminal Mischief on a 37 year old male subject on scene. The subject was not involved in the Family Violence call. The warrant was confirmed and the subject placed into custody. Deputy Durbin transported him to the Montgomery County Jail in Conroe.

On March 15th Deputy Corley was dispatched to the 32000 block of FM 249. While enroute Deputy Corley was advised by Dispatch that there was a male subject inside the Churches Chicken stumbling around. The Reportee also advised the subject had exited the restaurant and tried to get into her vehicle. The Deputy could smell a strong odor of alcoholic beverage on his breath, observed glassy eyes and slow speech. The subject admitted to have been drinking. Deputy Corley placed him into custody for Public Intoxication and transported him to the South County Jail.

District 5 – Lt. Gary Welch (Northwest County)

On March 24th Sgt. Bruce was dispatched to the 3700 block of Pinehollow to investigate the report of an Alarm. On arrival officers made contact with a male individual on location. The premises were found to be secure but the male subject was found to have an outstanding warrant through Kimble County Texas for Theft. The male was arrested and placed into the Montgomery County Jail.

On March 24th Deputy Favorat was dispatched to an establishment located in the 18100 block of SH 105W on a reported Suspicious female on location acting strange. Officers arrived and located the female who was later determined to be highly intoxicated. The female was arrested for Public Intoxication and placed into the Montgomery County Jail.

On March 25th Deputy Farmer responded to the 14100 block of Cecala on a Crime Stoppers Tip in an attempt to locate a wanted person out of Grimes County Texas. The subject was located and arrested for both warrants without incident. The male subject was then placed into the Montgomery County Jail awaiting extradition.

On March 25th Sgt. Bruce responded to the 15700 block of Oak Dr. in regards to the Burglary of a Habitation. The Complainant reported that someone had made forced entry into his home during his absence and stole numerous articles of electronics in addition to a firearm. The amount of theft was estimated to be over $800. This case is under investigation by the Criminal Investigation Division.

On March 26th Deputy Garner conducted a Traffic Stop on a vehicle along the 13000 block of SH 105 W. for Failure to stop at a stop sign as it entered the highway from a side street. Upon making contact with the male driver it was suspicioned that the driver may be intoxicated. After conducting several standard field sobriety tests the male subject was arrested for Driving While Intoxicated (3rd Offense), Felony-3 and placed into the Montgomery County Jail.

District 6 – Lt. David Dottei (Woodlands)

On March 22, 2011, Deputy Houstoun arrested a 30-year-old male and an 18-year-old male, both from Conroe for Theft at 1100 Lake Woodlands Drive. The suspects were observed taking building materials from a storage area next to Target and loading them in a pickup truck. The materials were part of the remodeling project taking place inside Target. The materials were valued at approximately $1000.00.

On March 23, 2011, Deputy Veith was dispatched to a Suspicious Vehicle call in the 13100 block of Sawmill Road. Upon arrival, Deputy Veith located the vehicle and made contact with the occupants, 30-year-old male from The Woodlands, and 22-year-old male from Spring. While interviewing the two subjects, Deputy Veith observed the driver to be nervous and unable to stand still. During the course of his investigation, the 22 year old was found to be in possession of heroin. He was taken into custody, charged with Possession of a Controlled Substance. The driver was taken into custody for Public Intoxication due to the fact that he was under the influence of narcotics and a danger to himself and others. Both suspects were transported to the Montgomery County Jail without incident.

On March 23, 2011, Deputy Prince assisted Deputy Ortiz with a suspicious vehicle call on Six Pines Drive. The vehicle was located in the middle of the roadway with the driver apparently asleep behind the wheel. The driver, 50-year-old male from Alberta, Canada, was arrested for Public Intoxication and transported to the Montgomery County Jail without incident.

On March 27, 2011, Deputy Borchardt responded to 14 Waterway Avenue to assist Deputy Prince with a possible intoxicated driver. While on patrol in the area, Deputy Prince was flagged down by a citizen to answer a question. While talking with the citizen, the suspect, 57-year-old male from The Woodlands, backed out of a parking space, striking Deputy Prince’s patrol vehicle. Deputy Borchardt arrived on scene and made contact with driver. The driver had bloodshot glassy eyes and the odor of an alcoholic beverage emitting from his breath. After conducting the Standardized Field Sobriety Tests, the suspect was taken into custody for Driving While Intoxicated (2nd or more) and transported to the Montgomery County Jail.

The following Shoplifting Arrests were reported:

3/23 – Deputy Carson arrested a 40-year-old female from Spring, for Shoplifting at 1201 Lake Woodlands. The suspect attempted to take $924.85 worth of jewelry from Sears. The suspect was taken into custody charged with Theft, and transported to the Montgomery County Jail without incident.

3/24 – Deputy Rizk arrested a 69-year-old female from Spring, for Shoplifting at 1201 Lake Woodlands. The suspect attempted to take $106.00 worth of clothing from Macys. The suspect was taken into custody charged with Theft, and transported to the Montgomery County Jail without incident.

3/24 – Deputy Conklin arrested a 17-year-old female from Houston, for Shoplifting at 1201 Lake Woodlands. The suspect attempted to take $93.97 worth of clothing from Sears. The suspect was taken into custody charged with Theft, and transported to the Montgomery County Jail without incident.

3/24 – Deputy Aguilar arrested a 29-year-old female from Houston, for Shoplifting at 3040 College Park Drive. The suspect attempted to take $159.60 worth of merchandise from Wal-Mart. The suspect was taken into custody charged with Theft, and transported to the Montgomery County Jail without incident.

3/24 – Deputy Conklin arrested a 17-year-old female from Houston, for Shoplifting at 1201 Lake Woodlands. The suspect attempted to take $93.97 worth of clothing from Sears. The suspect was taken into custody charged with Theft, and transported to the Montgomery County Jail without incident.

3/24 – Deputy Houstoun arrested a 17-year-old female from The Woodlands and a 17-year-old female from Magnolia, for Shoplifting at 1201 Lake Woodlands. The suspects attempted to take $64.96 worth of clothing from Sears. The suspects were taken into custody charged with Theft, and transported to the Montgomery County Jail without incident.

3/26 – Deputy Weatherford arrested a 54-year-old female from Spring, for Shoplifting at 1201 Lake Woodlands. The suspect attempted to take $304.00 worth of jewelry from Macys. The suspect was taken into custody charged with Theft, and transported to the Montgomery County Jail without incident.

3/26 – Deputy Lisalde and Deputy Niquette arrested a 17-year-old female from Spring, for Shoplifting at 1201 Lake Woodlands. The suspect attempted to take $188.00 worth of clothing and jewelry from J.C. Penny’s. The suspect was taken into custody charged with Theft, and transported to the Montgomery County Jail without incident.

3/26 – Deputy Ross arrested a 13-year-old male from Conroe, for Shoplifting at 1201 Lake Woodlands. The suspect attempted to take $105.00 worth of clothing from J.C. Penny’s. The suspect was taken into custody charged with Theft, and transported to the Montgomery County Juvenile Detention Facility without incident.

3/27 – Deputy Weatherford arrested a 37-year-old female from Shenandoah, for Shoplifting at 1201 Lake Woodlands. The suspect attempted to take $260.96 worth of clothing from Macys. The suspect was taken into custody charged with Theft, and transported to the Montgomery County Jail without incident.
