MCSO Crime Report

District 1 – Lt. Jim Fleming (North County)

A 35 year old female from Conroe was arrested at 12:05am, February 22, in the 16700 block of Highline Blvd by Deputy R. Salazar for an order of arrest warrant out of Montgomery County. The Deputy was investigating a disturbance call. The female was taken to jail.

A 45 year old male from Conroe was arrested at 8:40pm, February 24, in the 15300 block of Ben Wiggins Road by Deputies K. Underwood and A. Cross for an assault causes bodily injury warrant out of Montgomery County. The Deputies had been advised of the male’s location. Also arrested at the scene was a 34 year old female from Conroe who advised the Deputies numerous times that the male was not in the house. She was charged with hindering apprehension. Both subjects were transported to jail.

On February 26, Deputy J. Kader was sent to a convenience store in the 15500 block of E. Williams in reference to a male attempting to purchase merchandise with a counterfeit $20.00 bill. The male left the store after the clerk confiscated the bill. The clerk was able to provide a license plate number and the Deputy located the male at a residence from the license plate number. The Deputy found the male asleep in the vehicle. During the investigation the male admitted to using the counterfeit bill. During a search of the male, a baggy of marijuana was found on him. Also, a pill identified as Lorcet was located on the male. The male was arrested at 10:06am, charged with possession of marijuana and possession of a controlled substance. He was transported to jail. Charges are pending on the counterfeit bill.

On February 26, Deputy K. Berger and Sgt. E. Ward were notified of a family violence assault in the 11400 block of Post Oak Road. A father and his 18 year old son got involved in an argument that became physical. The father said he fought with his son because the younger male had head butted him. The older man slammed his son’s head into a glass door causing the glass to break. The fight continued out the door and down the stairs. Upon Deputies arrival the younger male was observed to have cuts on his head, numerous scratches on his neck that were bleeding. Both eyes were bloodshot where he was hit. The older male had no marks on him. The 40 year old male from Willis was arrested at 7:50pm and taken to jail. The younger male received a citation for the assault on the father.

A 28 year old male from Conroe was arrested at 5:28pm, February 27, in the 8300 block of Pineloch Drive by Deputy K. Albritton for a driving while intoxicated warrant out of Montgomery County. The Deputy was investigating a vehicle disturbance that the male was riding an ATV on the roadway and had rode into someone’s yard. The male was taken to jail.

On February 28, Deputy W. Adams and Cpl D. Bonner were dispatched to the 11800 block of Nelwood in reference to a criminal trespass call. The Deputies met with a female complainant who advised she had kicked her 26 year old son and his common law wife out of her house on February 21st. The male was abusing drugs and drinking excessively. On February 27th the common law wife came over to stay with the complainant to get away from the male. According to the complainant, she was asleep in the morning hours of February 28th when she was awakened by her son who was standing over her. The male was intoxicated. Later, after meeting with the Deputies the 26 year old male from Conroe was arrested for criminal trespass and taken to jail.

District 2 – Lt. Brady Fitzgerald (South County)

On February 22, 2010, at approximately 9 am, Dep. Christensen responded to an Assault in progress call on Plum Creek Drive. Once on scene Dep. Christensen met with the complainant, who stated that several of the girls at the residence were refusing to go to school. The suspect, White Female 15 yrs old, had attempted to force her way past the complainant, and in the process had grabbed the complainant’s hand, twisting her pinky finger, causing it to become dislocated and possibly broken. After speaking with all parties, the suspect was taken into custody for Class A Misdemeanor Assault and transported to the Montgomery County Juvenile Detention Facility.

On February 28, 2010, at approximately 1:50 am, Dep. Martin was dispatched to a Suspicious Person call on Pruitt Road. While en route to that call another call was dispatched in reference to a purse being stolen from a vehicle at I-45 and Pruitt Road. Dep. Martin met with the Reportee, who is also the on-site security person, and the suspect. She stated that the suspect (White Male 32 yrs old) was seen running, with a purse, into the apartment complex and jumping a fence. When confronted, he explained that the purse belonged to his girlfriend and that he had taken it because she was too drunk to drive. The purse owner identified the purse and said that it was taken from her vehicle. The suspect, when he saw her drive up, stated, “ya got me I took th purse from that truck.” The suspect was taken into custody for Burglary of a Motor Vehicle and transported to the Montgomery County Jail.

On March 1, 2010 at approximately 11 pm, Dep. Swank was dispatched to a Theft in Progress at 130 Sawdust Road. Upon arrival, Dep. Swank observed a person meeting the description of the
suspect walking down the side of the building. While speaking with the White Male 19, store security personnel advised that the suspect was talking with a person who may have shoplifted. The stolen items were found and a clear bag containing 2 white powder rocks of cocaine. The store refused to file charges, but did retain their property. The suspect was taken into custody for Possession of a Controlled Substance and transported to the Montgomery County Jail.

District 3 – Lt. Darrel Conn (East County)
On 2/24/10 Deputy Hamilton was dispatched to Hwy. 59 @ Spears Cir. in reference to a Theft in Progress. Upon his arrival he learned that a Patton Village unit was able to conduct a traffic stop
on the suspect vehicle. It had been reported that two males were stealing scrap metal from the back of a home. The suspects were found in possession of the scrap metal and were arrested. The two males, ages 26 and 38 were charged with Theft.

On 2/25/10 Deputy Walker was dispatched to a disturbance in progress at Hwy 59 @ Fm 1485. The Deputy made contact with one of the actors in the disturbance. The suspect went into the glove box of the vehicle to obtain rental paperwork and the Deputy observed several unmarked prescription bottles. Inside of the bottles were several drugs for which the suspect had no prescription for. The suspect, a 60 year old male was arrested and charged with Possession of a Controlled Substance and Possession of a Dangerous Drug.

On 2/26/10 Deputy Rippley was dispatched to the Aestival Drive in reference to a Criminal Mischief call. Upon her arrival she met with the complainant who stated that the suspect had gotten mad at her and taken all of her clothes and burned them. Contact was made with the suspect who admitted to burning the clothes. The suspect, a 20 year old male was arrested and charged with Criminal Mischief.

On 3/2/10 Deputy Ortiz was in the area of McDonalds in the 23000 block of Hwy 59. The Deputy was flagged down about a suspect trying to pass a counterfeit $20 bill. The Deputy was
able to make contact with the suspect and detained the suspect in the back of the patrol vehicle while he conducted his investigation. While the Deputy searched the suspect vehicle the suspect became irate and kicked the rear window of the patrol unit causing damage to the vehicle. The suspect, a 42 year old male was charged with Criminal Mischief for damaging the patrol unit. The counterfeit bill was never located.

District 4 – Lt. David Park (West County)

On February 28th at approximately 7:00 pm MCSO Deputy Crandell responded to a RV park located on Dobbin Huffsmith in reference to a Disturbance. The Complainant told deputies that a 46 white male had intentionally tried to run over her with his pick-up truck. The male suspect had a strong odor of alcohol. The suspect was charged with Aggravated Assault with a Deadly Weapon and was transported to the Montgomery County Jail without incident.

On February 26th at approximately 11:00 pm MCSO Corporal Wienke responded to the Indigo Lakes Subdivision in response to a possible juvenile alcohol party. Upon arriving to the location the Corporal observed a vehicle parked on the side of the roadway. The interior light was on and two occupants were inside the vehicle. Both males (one adult and one juvenile) inside the vehicle were observed sorting marijuana. Both males were taken into custody with the juvenile being taken to the Montgomery County Juvenile Probation and the adult taken to the Montgomery County Jail.

On February 25th at approximately 2:30 pm MCSO Deputy Suarez was dispatched to Ranch Crest Subdivision in reference to a Burglary in Progress. Prior to Deputy Suarez’s arrival a neighbor had advised MCSO Dispatch that a white male was on his neighbor’s property attempting to open the back door. Upon the Deputy’s arrival a white male was walking back to the front of the residence. Deputy Suarez found that there was a valid Criminal Trespass Warning against the male subject for this address. The subject was charged with Criminal Trespass of a Habitation and transported to the Montgomery County Jail without incident.

On February 25th MCSO Deputies received information regarding a male subject having an outstanding warrant for animal cruelty. Deputies arrived at the subject’s residence and placed him under arrest for the warrant. The subject was transported to the South Montgomery County Jail without incident.

On February 22nd at approximately 11:30 pm MCSO Sergeant Russell observed a vehicle parked facing the wrong way on a public roadway. The driver and passenger both appeared to be highly
intoxicated. Both male subjects had open beers in their laps and both subjects had odor of alcohol beverage emitting from their breath as they spoke. The driver provided a Personal Breath Test sample of .289. The passenger provided a partial PBT breath sample of .215. They were both arrested and transported to the Montgomery County Jail.

On February 22nd at approximately 3:00 am MCSO Deputies Hollan and Zavorski along with MCSO Sergeant Russell initiated a welfare check on a 55 male subject passed out in a Dodge Truck parked on the west side of SH 149. A strong odor of alcoholic beverage could be detected from the subject’s breath. The subject had slurred speech, bloodshot eyes, and was very unsteady on his feet. A baggie of approximately 11 grams of Marijuana was fund in the subject’s pocket. An additional charge was added to the subject’s arrest record of Possession of Marijuana in a School Zone. He was transported to the Montgomery County Jail without incident.

On February 22nd at approximately 12:00 am MCSO Sergeant Russell conducted a traffic stop. Sgt Russell found that there was an active warrant for the subject for failure to appear in court for the offense of Possession of Marijuana. The 28 year old was arrested and transported to the Montgomery County Jail.

On February 18th at approximately 5:30 am MCSO Sergeant Russell was dispatched to a male subject asleep in his car parked in an intersection of a public roadway. Upon waking the male, the Sergeant was able to immediately notice a strong odor of an alcohol beverage on his breath. Standard Field Sobriety Test (SFST) was attempted but the subject could not complete the test. The subject refused a Personal Breath Test. The subject was arrested and transported to the South Montgomery County Jail and his vehicle towed.

District 5 – Lt. Don Lacy (Northwest County)

On 02/25/10 at 4:50 PM Deputy Durbin responded to the 15700 block of Forest Drive for a report of Criminal Mischief. The Complainant reported that sometime over the past week someone vandalized his vacant residential property causing extensive damage estimated to be in excess of $ 15,000. The case is under investigation by the Criminal Investigation Division.

On 02/27/10 at 12:30 PM Deputy Howze responded to the 8500 block of Allen Drive for the report of an Abandoned Vehicle. Investigation revealed that the vehicle was unoccupied and left along side of the road. Upon checking stolen/wanted status it was learned that the vehicle was reported stolen out of Harris County. The vehicle was processed for evidence and removed from the scene. The case is under investigation by the Auto Theft Task Force.

On 02/27/10 at 9:00 PM Deputy Farmer responded to the 200 block of Lakeview Circle to conduct a Warrant Service. The subject in question was apprehended and arrested on a Felony Order of Arrest in conjunction with a Probation Violation. The subject was placed into the Montgomery County Jail without bond.

On 02/28/10 at 9:15 PM Deputy Favorat conducted a Traffic Stop in the 12000 block of FM 149 North. Upon checking the driver it was discovered that the individual had outstanding warrants
from Tarrant County Texas and Freemont County Colorado. The warrants were confirmed and the subject was arrested and placed into the Montgomery County jail without bond.

On 03/01/10 at 10:00 AM Deputy Favorat responded to Pimmit Hill Run Drive for a reported Burglary of a Vehicle. The Complainant reported that someone entered her unlocked vehicle
overnight and stole approximately $ 60 cash. The case is under investigation by the Patrol Division.
District 6 – Lt. David Dottei (Woodlands)


The following Shoplifting arrest(s) were made at 1201 Lake Woodlands Drive:
2/15 – White Female 21 yrs old – The recovered merchandise (3 items) was valued at $54.96. The suspect was transported to the Montgomery County Jail.
2/20 – White Female 17 yrs old – The recovered merchandise (6 items) was valued at $123.78. The suspect was transported to the Montgomery County Jail.
2/21 – Black Male 20 yrs old – The recovered merchandise (4 items) was valued at $118. The suspect was transported to the Montgomery County Jail.
2/23 – White Female 19 yrs old – The recovered merchandise (5 items) was valued at $62. The suspect was transported to the Montgomery County Jail.
2/23 – White Female 15 and White Female 13 – The recovered merchandise (10 items) was valued at $109.90. The suspects were transported to the Montgomery County Juvenile Detention
Facility in Conroe.
2/23 – White Female 17 yrs old – The recovered merchandise (3 items) was valued at $78.96. The suspect was transported to the Montgomery County Jail. The suspect’s friend, White Female
18 yrs old, received a citation for Theft for merchandise valued at $49.96 that was also recovered.
2/24 – White Male 16 yrs old and White Male 16 yrs old – The recovered merchandise (6 items – each boy had 3 shirts) was valued at $120. The suspects were transported to the Montgomery
County Juvenile Detention Facility in Conroe.
2/26 – White Female 18 yrs old – The recovered merchandise (8 items) was valued at $342.48. The suspect was transported to the Montgomery County Jail.
2/26 – White Female 17 yrs old – The recovered merchandise (11 items) was valued at $394.46. The suspect was transported to the Montgomery County Jail.
2/26 – White Female 22 yrs old – The recovered merchandise (3 items) was valued at $89.97. The suspect was transported to the Montgomery County Jail.
2/26 – White Female 22 yrs old – The recovered merchandise (3 items) was valued at $109.47. The suspect was transported to the Montgomery County Jail.
The following Shoplifting arrest(s) were made at 3040 College Park Drive:
2/18 – White Female 41 yrs old – The recovered merchandise (1 item) was valued at $19. The suspect was transported to the Montgomery County Jail. Charges were upgraded to a State Jail
Felony due to the suspect have multiple convictions for theft on her record.
2/22 – Black Female 30 yrs old – The recovered merchandise (9 items) was valued at $58.37. The suspect was transported to the Montgomery County Jail.
2/26 – White Male 47 yrs old – The recovered merchandise (18 items) was valued at $227.83. The suspect was transported to the Montgomery County Jail.
The following Possession of Marijuana arrest(s) were made:


2/14 – White Male 25 yrs old was arrested after a traffic stop for a defective brake light. During the course of the investigation 1 gram of Marijuana was found inside the vehicle. The suspect
was charged with Class B Misdemeanor Possession of Marijuana and transported to the Montgomery County Jail without incident.2/15 – White Male 20 yrs old was arrested after a deputy was dispatched to a suspicious vehicle at 20 Waterway Avenue. During the course of the investigation 1.5 gram of Marijuana was found inside the vehicle. The suspect was charged with Class B Misdemeanor Possession of Marijuana and transported to the Montgomery County Jail without incident.
2/16 – White Male 20 yrs old was arrested at 4192 Interfaith Way. During a park check at this location the deputy made contact with two white males. During the course of the contact, the suspect stated that he had small amount of Marijuana in his vehicle. The suspect was charged with Class B Misdemeanor Possession of Marijuana, for the 1.25 grams, and transported to the Montgomery County Jail without incident.

The following additional arrests were made:


On February 22, 2010 at approximately 11 pm, Dep. Pternitis was dispatched to a Theft at 1600 Lake Robbins. Upon arrival, Dep. Pternitis met with Sgt. Franklin, the complainant and the suspect. The complainant stated that a customer told her that another customer had taken her IPod from the counter. The complainant then contacted Sgt. Franklin who was working an approved extra job at the location. The suspect, White Male 21 yrs old, was located and during the course of the investigation the IPod was located. The suspect was then taken into custody for Theft and transported to the Montgomery County Jail.

On February 20, 2010 at approximately 8pm, Dep. Conklin was patrolling the area of the Water Way at the Pavilion, when he noticed a vehicle attempting to turn around down on the Water Way. This area is reserved for foot traffic, bicycles and the Woodlands Trolley Service and is clearly marked, No Unauthorized Vehicles. Dep. Conklin made contact with the driver, White Male 30 yrs old, asking for his license and how he had managed to get around the gates and down on the Water Way. The driver had a strong odor of alcohol coming from his breath and/or person as he explained he had taken the turn his friend told him to take. During the course of the investigation an open bottle of vodka was found on the floor board behind the driver’s seat. The suspect attempted to perform the Standardized Field Sobriety Tests, but due to the level of intoxication was not able to complete them. He was taken into custody for Driving While Intoxicated and transported to the Montgomery County Jail. The passenger, White Male 32 yrs old, was taken into custody for Public Intoxication and also transported to the Montgomery County Jail.

On February 25, 2010 at approximately 12:30 am, Dep. Ward was patrolling the area of Panther Creek Pines and Gosling when he noticed a vehicle stopped at the stop sign for an extended period of time. Dep. Ward made contact with the driver, White Male 23 yrs old, asking him if everything was alright. The driver responded that the deputy made him nervous. The driver was noticeably shaking and had blood shot eyes. Dep. Ward asked if he had been smoking marijuana due to those physical signs, to which the driver replied yes, earlier that day. When asked if there were any drugs in the vehicle, the driver gave Dep. Ward a clear plastic bag with a green leafy substance and a glass pipe. Dep. Ward then contacted the Assistant District Attorney on call and advised him of the situation. Charges were accepted for Possession of Marijuana. The suspect was taken into custody and transported to the Montgomery County Jail.

On February 26, 2010 at approximately 11 pm, Dep. Dewey was dispatched to a welfare check at 8900 Research Park. Upon arrival Dep. Dewey made contact with the subject of the Welfare Check, White Female 30 yrs old. During the course of the investigation, Dep. Dewey noticed a half burned homemade cigarette and a glass pipe. The subject stated that she smoked marijuana recreationally and that was what the items were for. Dep. Dewey placed the marijuana and pipe in an evidence bag, which the suspect complained about the pipe being taken. The subject was then taken into custody for Possession of Marijuana and transported to the Montgomery County Jail.

On February 26, 2010 at approximately 2 am, Dep. Ward conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle that did not have a rear license plate. During the course of the traffic stop, the driver, White Male 19 yrs old, was observed to have remnants of marijuana on his shorts. Upon a search of the vehicle a brown glass pipe containing a green leafy substance was located under the driver seat where the suspect had been sitting. Dep. Ward then contacted the Assistant District Attorney on call and advised him of the situation. Charges were accepted for Possession of Marijuana. The suspect was taken into custody and transported to the Montgomery County Jail.
