MCSO Crime Report

District 1 – Lt. Jim Fleming (North County)

On October 20, Deputy J. Hodges was sent to the 9700 block of Lake Oaks Lane in reference to a family violence assault call. The Deputy met with a female complainant who advised she and a female witness picked up the complainant’s father (male suspect) from an uncle’s residence and on the way home they stopped at a convenience store where the male suspect slapped the complainant’s hand and threw a soft drink on her. The male was intoxicated and fell on the ground as he attempted to get out of the vehicle. The complainant advised they got home and the male suspect was still causing problems. The 41 year old male from Conroe was arrested at 10:40pm and transported to jail.

On October 22, Deputy J. Bourne was dispatched to the 100 block of Pegasus Court in reference to an assault. The Deputy met with a male complainant and two witnesses. The complainant advised his 16 year old daughter had run away from home and her boyfriend (male suspect) brought her back to get some clothes. They saw her parents were at home and drove down the street waiting for the parents to leave. The complainant saw his daughter and went to get her. The male suspect confronted the complainant with a large tool in his hand, swinging it and attempting to hit the complainant. The complainant grabbed his daughter and tried to get her to the house when the male suspect became violent, threatening the complainant. The daughter broke free and ran down the road and got into the male suspect’s truck. The male suspect then accelerated his truck toward the complainant and struck him with the passenger side of the vehicle. The complainant received several cuts and bruises. The male suspect was stopped by Deputies about five minutes later. The 17 year old male from Conroe was arrested at 7:59pm, charged with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon and transported to jail.

On October 22, Deputy K. Albritton was notified of a family violence assault in the 14100 block of FM 1484. The Deputy met with a male complainant who advised he and his wife had been verbally arguing and he attempted to walk away from the argument when she grabbed him by the shirt and jerked him back. He was able to break free and enter his vehicle locking it. The 51 year old female from Conroe was arrested for assault at 5:00pm and transported to jail.

On October 23, Deputy A. Booher responded to the 9200 block of S. Williams Road for a family violence assault call. The Deputy met with a male complainant who stated he and his son had been involved in an argument that turned physical. The younger male hit his father on the face causing his lower lip to bleed. The 32 year old male from Willis was arrested at 9:45pm and transported to jail.

On October 23, Deputy J. Halbert was sent to the 11400 block of Birdie Road in reference to a family disturbance call. The Deputy met with a female complainant who stated that she attempted to call 9-1-1 when her husband pulled the phone cord out of the wall thus preventing her from calling 9-1-1. The 33 year old male from Conroe was arrested at 11:16pm, charged with interference with an emergency phone call and transported to jail.

On October 24, Deputy K. Albritton was sent to the 14100 block of Hwy 75N in reference to a family violence assault call. The Deputy met with a male and female complainant and the female suspect. The male complainant advised his wife (female suspect) and a female neighbor (female complainant) were kissing and he decided to join in. He and the female complainant were having sexual relations when the wife became upset because her husband was giving the other female more attention than her. The wife stated she felt like a jilted lover. Other witnesses stated there was a lot of yelling coming from the bedroom. The female complainant came out and the female suspect started hitting her. The male complainant attempted to stop the fight and was assaulted by his wife receiving multiple cuts and scratches on his forehead and neck. The female suspect ended up throwing the female complainant on the ground. The 23 year old female from Conroe was arrested at 10:45pm, charged with two counts of assault and taken to jail.

On October 24, Deputy J. Bourne was dispatched to the 8600 block of S. Williams Road in reference to a family violence assault call. The Deputy met with a female complainant who advised her son became upset when he found out the female complainant had given his daughter to his ex-wife. The male grabbed his mother by the arms and began yelling at her and spit in her face. The complainant tried to call 9-1-1 when the male took the phone and refused to give it back. The complainant got away and ran to her truck and started to drive off when the male jumped in the bed of the truck and started hitting the roof and windows with his fists. The male then called his ex-wife and told her the complainant had run over him and he needed to go to the hospital. EMS was dispatched to the location and found nothing wrong with the male suspect other than his knuckles swelling indicating he had struck something. There were no indicators on the truck that would suggest he had been hit by it. The 30 year old male from Conroe was arrested at 9:37pm and transported to jail.

District 2 – Lt. Andrew Eason (South County/Woodlands)

On October 11, 2009, Dep. Fruge was dispatched to the area of Sedgefield Street for a Driving While Intoxicated report. Witnesses on scene reported that the suspect WM 26 yrs old, had been swerving on multiple roadways and at one point had hit a brick mailbox. The suspect emitted a strong odor of an alcoholic beverage that became stronger as he spoke. He had bloodshot, glassy eyes and had a hard time maintaining his balance. The suspect refused to perform an HGN test or other Standardized Field Sobriety Tests. The suspect was taken into custody and transported to the Montgomery County Jail without incident.

On October 16, 2009, Sgt. Hammons, while on routine patrol encountered a black Saturn failing to maintain a single lane of travel on Woodlands Parkway. The vehicle was traveling at approximately 30 mph with a flat tire and their hazard lights on. Sgt. Hammons initiated a traffic stop and the vehicle stopped after turning onto Panther Creek. The driver of the vehicle, WF 20 yrs old, emitted a strong odor of an alcoholic beverage that became stronger as she spoke. She had bloodshot, glassy eyes, slurred speech and had a hard time maintaining her balance. Standardized Field Sobriety Tests were conducted and at the conclusion, the driver was taken into custody for DWI. The passenger of the vehicle, WF 21, was also found to be intoxicated and was placed in custody for Public Intoxication. Both were transported to Female Booking at the Montgomery County Jail in Conroe.

On October 20, 2009, Dep. Uber, conducted a routine traffic stop on a vehicle for a defective brake light. During the course of the stop, the driver WM 23 yrs old, was found to be in possession of .03 oz of marijuana and 1 gram of Xanax. The subject was taken into custody and transported to the Montgomery County Jail without incident.

On October 21, 2009, Dep. Wakefield conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle that was driving recklessly in the Rayford/Sawdust area. The driver of the vehicle, W/M 19yrs old, stated he was late to meet some friends and that he had been eating and trying to drive with his knees. Dep. Wakefield noticed the driver to have slurred speech and seemed very nervous and shaky. During the course of the investigation, the suspect was found to have a bottle containing a clear liquid substance that later tested to be Phencyclidine (PCP). The bottle and contents weighed at 71.4 grams. The suspect was charged with 2nd Degree Felony Possession of Controlled Substance PG1 4g<200g. The subject was taken into custody and transported to the Montgomery County Jail without incident.

On October 23, 2009, Dep. Jobe was dispatched to a possible trespasser in progress on Pruitt Road. Upon arrival Dep. Jobe met with the complainant and the arrested WM 32. The suspect became agitated that Dep. Jobe was even on scene and began to walk away. Dep. Jobe asked him to remain at the location during the investigation, at which time the suspect said there was nothing to investigate and could bring him his identification when finished. Dep. Jobe again asked him to stop and the suspect continued to leave. After the fourth request to stay, Dep. Jobe ran down the stairs and detained the suspect until the conclusion of his investigation. At that time the suspect was into custody for Evading and transported to the Montgomery County Jail without further incident.

On October 24, 2009, Dep. Ward was on routine patrol in Panther Creek, when he came across two subjects in the parking lot at Creekwood Park. The subjects stated they were having some beers and riding skateboards. During the course of the investigation, Dep. Ward found that the one subject, WM 21 yrs old, was in possession of marijuana and a glass pipe for smoking. The charges were enhanced due to the area is a drug free zone (park, school and church). The subject was taken into custody and transported to the Montgomery County Jail without incident.

District 3 – Lt. Darrel Conn (East County

On 10/25/09 Deputy Jackson was dispatched to the 18000 block of Pickering Rd. in reference to a Family Violence call. Upon his arrival he learned that the victim had been assaulted by her husband. He learned that the suspect had taken the victim and threw her down on a porch causing her head to strike the floor. He then grabbed her causing her to fall off the porch and threw a log at her. The suspect, a 45 year old male, was arrested and charged with Assault (Family Violence).

On 10/24/09 Deputy Ray was dispatched to the Kroger located at 23611 Hwy 59 in reference to a welfare check. Upon his arrival he found an intoxicated male at the store. Due to the subject’s behavior and his obvious level of intoxication he was arrested. The suspect, a 27 year old male was transported to jail without further incident.

On 10/25/09 Deputy Ortiz was dispatched to the 18000 block of Hwy 59 in reference to a possible intoxicated driver. Upon his arrival he observed the driver of a vehicle to be pulled over to the side. Upon his interview he determined the driver to be intoxicated. A witness had observed the driver before she had pulled over and had followed her to this location. The driver, a 52 year old female was arrested and charged with DWI.

On 10/25/09 Deputy Walker was patrolling the area of Loop 494 @ FM 1314 and observed a vehicle that failed to use the turn signal at the intersection. A traffic stop was conducted and marijuana was located in the vehicle. The driver, a 29 year old male was arrested and charged with Possession of Marijuana.

District 4 – Lt. David Park (West County)

District 5 – Lt. Don Lacy (Northwest County)

October 21, 2009, at 9:00 AM Deputy Garlock responded to the 19600 block of FM 2854 for the report of a Theft. Complainant reported that sometime during the night his vehicle and a connected trailer loaded with a large mower were stolen from his property. The amount of loss is reported to be in excess of $36,000. The case is currently under investigation by the Montgomery County Auto Theft Task Force.

October 22, 2009, shortly after midnight Deputy Rex responded to the 18000 block of SH 105 West for the report of Burglary of a Vehicle. Complainant reported that their vehicle had been forcibly entered and over $500 worth of personal belongings were stolen. A search of the area resulted in locating the Suspect. Suspect was arrested for Burglary of a Vehicle and placed into the Montgomery County Jail on $750 bond.

October 22, 2009, at 11:30 AM Deputy Wiesepape responded to the 16500 block of Hunters Trail for the report of a Burglary of a Habitation in progress. Upon arrival it was determined that the complainant briefly had two adult male Suspects detained but they fled the scene before officers arrived. A search of the area was conducted where both Suspects were located and arrested after being identified by the Complainant. All of the stolen property, valued at over $3,000, was recovered and returned to the owner. Both Suspects were placed into the Montgomery County Jail for Burglary of a Habitation on $10,000 bond each.

October 22, 2009, at 6:30 PM Deputy Wiesepape responded to an area along Sharp Rd. for the report of a suspicious vehicle. While still en route the officer observed a vehicle matching the same description leaving the area. Officer then initiated a traffic stop on the vehicle occupied by four adult male occupants. Investigation revealed that all occupants were in possession of a controlled substance. The four Suspects were arrested for Possession of a Controlled Substance and placed into the Montgomery County Jail on $10,000 bond each.

October 26, 2009, shortly after midnight Deputy Garner initiated a traffic stop on a vehicle in the 300 block of Mohawk Drive. During the investigation and after several field tests it was determined that the adult female driver was intoxicated. The Suspect was arrested for Driving While Intoxicated and placed into the Montgomery County Jail on $600 bond.

District 6 – Lt. David Dottei (Town Center)

The following Shoplifting arrests were made at 3040 College Park Drive:

10/17/2009 – Hispanic Male 19 yrs old – The suspect selected 4 items then passed several points of purchase without attempting to pay for the concealed merchandise and exited the store where he was then stopped by Loss Prevention officers and escorted back into the store and processed for theft. The recovered merchandise was valued at $84.84. The suspect was taken into custody and transported to the Montgomery County Jail without further incident.

10/18/2009 – White Male 34 yrs old – The suspect selected 2 items then passed several points of purchase without attempting to pay for the concealed merchandise and exited the store where he was then stopped by Loss Prevention Officer (LPO) who attempted to escorted him back into the store. At that time the suspect became combative with the LPO and was taken to the ground by the LPO and a witness then returned to the security office and processed for theft. The recovered merchandise was valued at $29.00. The suspect was taken into custody for 2nd Degree Robbery and transported to the Montgomery County Jail after being checked out at the hospital for injuries incurred during detention.

10/23/2009 – White Female 30 yrs old – The suspect selected 13 items then passed several points of purchase without attempting to pay for the concealed merchandise and exited the store where she was then stopped by Loss Prevention officers and escorted back into the store and processed for theft. The recovered merchandise was valued at $87.12. The suspect was taken into custody and transported to the Montgomery County Jail without further incident.

The following Shoplifting arrests were made at 1201 Lake Woodlands:

10/14/2009 – Black Female 19 – The suspect selected 4 items, then passed several points of purchase without attempting to pay for the concealed merchandise and exited the store where she was then stopped by Loss Prevention officers and escorted back into the store and processed for theft. The recovered merchandise was valued at $62.98. The suspect was taken into custody and transported to the Montgomery County Jail without further incident.

10/19/2009 – White Male 19 yrs old and White Male 19 yrs old. The suspects each selected a Hurley Hoodie Jacket and put them on, then passed several points of purchase without attempting to pay for the merchandise and exited the store where they were detained by deputies then escorted back into the store and processed for theft. The recovered merchandise was valued at $65.00. each. The suspects were taken into custody and transported to the Montgomery County Jail without further incident.

10/21/2009 – White Male 20 yrs old and White Male 26 yrs old -The Loss Prevention Officer (LPO) stated that on this date, they observed the suspects enter the store and begin selecting several items and enter the fitting rooms. A short while later one suspect exited the fitting room wearing a shirt he had selected. He passed several points of purchase without attempting to pay for the concealed merchandise and exited the store where he was then stopped by Loss Prevention officers and escorted back into the store and processed for theft. The recovered merchandise was valued at $89.50. The other suspect returned a shirt to the rack and then proceeded out of the store and to his vehicle where he removed items taken from the store and concealed them in his vehicle. The second suspect was later detained by MCSO Deputies and the merchandise was recovered. The recovered merchandise was valued at $89.50. The shirt that was returned to the rack was valued at $98 and was listed as damaged when the security sensor was ripped off it. During the course of the investigation, numerous narcotics paraphernalia were located as well as other clothing items believed to have been taken from other stores. The suspects were taken into custody and transported to the Montgomery County Jail charged with Theft and Possession of Instrument Used to Commit Retail Theft (cutters to remove security tags). WM20 subject was also charged with Possession of Marijuana and Criminal Mischief.

10/22/2009 – White Female 22yrs old – The suspect selected 4 items then passed several points of purchase without attempting to pay for the concealed merchandise and exited the store where she was then stopped by Loss Prevention officers and escorted back into the store and processed for theft. The recovered merchandise was valued at $64.96. The suspect was taken into custody and transported to the Montgomery County Jail without further incident.

On October 18, 2009, Dep. Flores was dispatched to assist with a Narcotics call at 1601 Lake Robbins. Upon arrival she met with Deputies on the scene who had responded to a noise disturbance. During the course of the investigation, .16 oz of Hashish, 17 grams of Ecstasy, .3 grams of Cocaine and .27 oz. of Marijuana were found. The occupants of the room White Male 34 yoa and White Female 27 yoa were taken into custody and charged with Possession of Marijuana and 3 counts of Possession of Controlled Substance each. The suspects were transported to the Montgomery County Jail without incident.
