Just before 6 p.m. Saturday, the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office was dispatched to a home on Wind River Ct. in the Lake Creek Forest Subdivision on a welfare check. While en route to the call deputies were advised a relative had made entry into the home and found the two occupants deceased. Deputies arrived on the scene and located Anthony Janczak, 47 and Ivonne Janczak, a 57-year-old female deceased. Both died of an apparent gunshot wound. Montgomery County Precinct 1 Justice of the Peace Wayne Mack responded to the scene and ordered an autopsy. Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office Violent Crimes Unit is investigating. It is believed to be a murder/suicide but detectives are awaiting autopsy results. It is not believed there is any threat to the public at this time.
