MCSO SIU Seizes Large Amount of PCP

SOUTH COUNTY — On January 5, around 9 a.m., the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office Special Investigations Unit Patrol Deputies arrested a resident of Spring for Aggravated Possession a Controlled substance.

The Deputies witnessed a traffic violation and stopped the vehicle in the area of Woodlands Parkway and Kuykendahl Road in

The Woodlands. During the traffic stop, 112 ounces of liquid phencyclidine (PCP) was discovered inside the vehicle.

The driver, 36-year-old Lydell A. Jones of Spring, was arrested and charged with Aggravated Possession of a Controlled Substance and taken to the Montgomery County Jail.

The wholesale value of the PCP recovered is estimated to be $20,000. The concentrate can be broken down to four to five times the amount seized
