District 3 – Lt. Joe Senn (East County)
On March 8, a 44 year old female was arrested form the Porter Walmart store for theft. The female had concealed several pieces of jewelry in her purse and attempted to leave the store without paying for them. Loss prevention employees of Walmart stopped the female and called for Deputies. Kimberlyn Ryder Diefenbach was arrested by Deputy Hall and transported to jail without incident.
On March 8, a 43 year old female was arrested for assault in the 15200 block of Robin Trail. A 911 call was received from the residence and Deputy O’Conner responded. Upon investigation, it was learned the woman had an argument with a male on location and during the argument the female hit the male causing him injury. The female was transported to jail without incident.
On March 9, a 33 year old male was arrested in the 18000 block of Whispering Pines Drive, for burglary of a habitation and criminal trespass. Deputies were called to the scene because the female home owner returned home to find Matthew Douglas Walker inside her home. The male was someone she formerly dated, but had ended the relationship. The female asked the male several times to leave which he refused. Deputies located the male upon arrival, where he was arrested without incident. The male was then transported to jail.
On March 9, Deputy Jordan was dispatched to the 25400 block of Loop 494, in reference a male who was on location with a gun and threatening people. Upon arrival, the male was located and detained. It was discovered he did have a pistol in his waistband. Travis Lane Favro was checked, showed to be a convicted felon and was placed under arrest. A search of his person then showed he was in possession of methamphetamines. The male was arrested for unlawful possession of a firearm by felon and possession of a controlled substance.
On March 10, Deputy Hinkel was dispatched to the area of FM 1314 and Andrews Lane, for a man walking in the middle of the road. Upon arrival, a 21 year old male was located and discovered to have recently smoked marijuana. The male did not know where he was and discovered to be intoxicated. The male was arrested for public intoxication and transported to jail.
On March 11, Deputy Jordan was dispatched to the 23400 block of US Hwy 59, for a robbery call. Upon investigation, it was learned the 19 year old caller had not been robbed, but was intoxicated and detained for further investigation. It was then discovered the 19 year old was in possession of several narcotic pills (a controlled substance) and “tar” tetrahydrocannabinol concentrate. Anthony Richard Parks was arrested and charged with possession of a controlled substance.
On March 11, Deputy Gallagher was patrolling the area of Sorters Road near North Park, when he observed a vehicle parked in a high crime area on the side of the road. Upon stopping to investigate, it was discovered a 32 year Blake Edwards Alford (driver) and a 30 year old female Krystal Marie King (passenger) advised they ran out of gas at the location and were waiting for someone to bring them fuel. The pair began acting very nervous and consent was given to search the vehicle. Upon search, a baggie of marijuana was discovered and the two were arrested. They both were then transported to the jail and charged with possession of marijuana.
On March 11, Deputy Lobue was dispatched to the area of Loop 494 and Ford Road, for a disturbance call. Upon arrival, it was discovered a 36 year old male had created a disturbance with a female at Player’s bar and both were asked to leave. The pair left, but one employee thought the male took a drink outside with him and went out to get it. Once outside, the employee observed the male hit the female in the face. The male then ran down the road, away from the bar. The male was located, arrested for assault, and taken to jail.
On March 12, Deputy Cantu Jr was dispatched to the 3300 block of Ricewood for a trespasser. Upon arrival, a 23 year old male was located who was just issued a trespass warning not to be on location. The male was arrested for criminal trespass and taken to jail.
On March 12, Deputy Hall responded to the report of a vehicle at the intersection of Highway 59 and FM 1485, sitting in the intersection with Steven Ray Morales passed out behind the wheel. Upon arrival, it was discovered a 24 year old male had stopped at the intersection and passed out with his foot on the brake and the car in drive. The male was awakened and the car stopped. An investigation was conducted and the male was found intoxicated. The male was arrested for driving while intoxicated and transported to jail.
On March 12, Deputy Cooke was patrolling the area of Ford Road when he observed 42 year old Charles Clarence Point riding a bicycle in the middle of the road and holding a beer. Upon investigating, the male was found highly intoxicated and was arrested for public intoxication.
On March 13, Deputy Hall observed a vehicle in the area of FM 1314 and Valley Ranch fail to signal a turn. The Deputy stopped the vehicle on the witnessed traffic offense. The vehicle made several swerves as it drove before stopping. The 40 year old male driver was observed to possibly be intoxicated. After an investigation, the male was arrested for driving while intoxicated and taken to jail.
On March 13, Deputy Kelman was dispatched to the 20000 block of FM 1485, for an assault call. Upon arrival, it was found a 33 year old male had hit his girlfriend in the face several times. The male was located at a residence nearby and was arrested for assault and taken to jail.
