Sheriff Rand Henderson will be hosting an area Community Action Partners (CAPs) town hall meeting on Thursday, November 9th at the First Baptist Church, Porter, at 6:30pm. Any resident or business in Montgomery County is invited to attend and hear Sheriff Henderson share his strategic plan for the Sheriff’s Office’s public safety focus in our community. Additionally, attendees will get to personally meet their Sheriff, members of his leadership team, and some of the deputies who patrol their area.
Those wishing to have questions or concerns addressed personally by the Sheriff, or one of his leadership team members, can go to the MCSO website ( , click on the “Community” tab, then “Community Action Partners” and fill out a survey form. Your questions will be researched and a detailed answer given at the CAPs meeting.
All attending will be given an opportunity to enroll in the CAPs program, which provides members with on-going, first-hand information and insight to events happening in public safety in our area, as well as being recognized as a law enforcement partner.
