MIB ARREST WOMAN WITH PAROLE WARRANT WHO WAS ORIGINALLY CHARGED WITH ATTEMPTED CAPITAL MURDER OF A POLICE OFFICER

About 2:30 am a Montgomery County Precinct 4 Deputy stopped a female for a traffic violation on Gene Campbell Blvd. in the New Caney area. She was found to be wanted by the Texas Board of Pardon and Parole for a parole violation for an original charge was Attempted Capital Murder of a Police Officer. Dione Christine Allen, 48, of 15827 Old Houston Road was booked into the Montgomery County Jail. She was originally charged on June 10, 1989, with attempted capital murder of a police officer when she was accused of shooting a .45 out the window of a vehicle she was in while being pursued by Harris County Precinct 4 Deputies. This after pulling off several robberies in the days prior. The driver of that getaway car, Troy Russell Mcgee was given 30 years in the Texas Department of Criminal Justice.  Allen was given 25-years. Allen was released from prison in 1998 and moved to Montgomery County where on August 28, 2012, she was sentenced by Judge Case for Felon in possession of a firearm and sentenced to 3-years in the Texas Department of Criminal Justice. Her parole was also revoked in which the State took away all her good time (time on the streets).  She was released and again on February 14, 2019, was arrested for felon in possession of a firearm. In addition, she was arrested for manufacture and/or delivery of methamphetamine, between 4 and 200 grams by Conroe Police after a search warrant was executed at her Old Houston home. She is set to be in the 435th District Court, Judge Maginnis this week. She remains on parole until 2027.
