“MIB” WEEK ENDING MARCH 10, 2010

For the week of March 1 to March 9, 2010 the Montgomery County Precinct 4 Constables Office reported the following:
82 civil papers served
4 evictions
3 writs
62 JP4 warrants cleared through arrests
6 arrested for Montgomery County Misdemeanor Warrants
4 Felony Warrants cleared by arrest
7 vehicles were towed for no insurance or license
38 traffic citations issued

On 3-9-10 at 10:45 am Deputy Morrow along with several other Pct. 4 Deputies arrived at a home on Joy Village Dr. in Splendora to serve a felony arrest warrant on Raymond Gibson. As the Deputies arrived, Raymond was spotted in the back yard. Raymond seen the black Constable cars pull up and he took off running through several yards and onto the next street. Several Deputies gave chase. Raymond was caught and placed into handcuffs. Raymond was arrested for 8 JP 4 warrants, one felony warrant and evading arrest. He was transported to the Montgomery County Jail.

On 3-9-10 at 1:30 pm Montgomery County Sheriff’s Deputies were dispatched to a home in the Oak Hurst neighborhood for a theft in progress. Several of the suspects fled the scene on foot. Pct. 4 Deputy Constable Chapa responded to the area to assist, and they were able to locate 3 of the four suspects. The suspects were turned over to the MCSO.

On 3-8-10 at 3:45 pm Pct. 4 Deputies along with the MCSO Special Operations Group responded to a home located on Deer Glen West, where 36 year old Everette Holmes was arrested for an outstanding felony warrant for his arrest for the charge of sexual assault of a child. This warrant was issued by Texas Pardon and Parole Board. Holmes was transported to the Montgomery County Jail with no bond, he will be going back to TDC.

On 3-8-10 at 11:45 pm Pct. 4 Deputy Ford responded to a theft call at the Porter Wal Mart. Deputy Ford learned that a white male had driven off on a motorized shopping cart. “Wow you can walk faster than a motorized shopping cart.” After a short search of the area, Deputy Ford located the suspect and the stolen ride about a quarter of a mile away stopped at a gas station. The motorized cart had run out of power. The suspect had stopped at the service station and plugged the cart into an electrical outlet for a quick recharge. During an interview the suspect was identified as 18 year old Cody Czichos from Houston. Cody told the Deputy that he was tired of walking and was headed to Jersey Village, and he planned on driving the motorized shopping cart on Hwy 59, 47 miles back to Jersey Village. Cody was arrested for felony theft and was transported to the Montgomery County Jail. The shopping cart was returned back to Wal Mart after it was charged up.

On 03-07-10 at 4:20 am Deputy Bergland conducted a traffic stop on a red car for a traffic violation in the FM 1485 and FM 3083 area. The driver was identified as 44 year old William Massey from Crosby Tx. During the traffic stop interview , Deputy Bergland noticed narcotics in the vehicle. William was arrested for possession of a controlled substance. He was transported to the Montgomery County Jail, where he received a $100,000 bond.

On 03-06-10 at 11:30 pm Corporal Looza and his partner Reserve Deputy McHugh conducted a traffic stop on a red truck on Hwy 59 in the Porter area for a traffic violation. The driver was identified as 30 year old Randy Vest from Splendora. Further investigation lead to Randy’s arrest after meth and cocaine was found in his vehicle. Randy was transported to the Montgomery County Jail, his bond was set at $6,000

On 3-5-10 at 5:00 pm Deputy Rivera responded to a motor vehicle accident at Hwy 59 and Community Dr. While investigating the accident, Deputy Rivera noticed that one of the drivers appeared to be intoxicated. After several field sobriety test, 47 year old Carla Butcher from Splendora was placed under arrest for felony DWI. A small child was in the vehicle with her during the accident, which upgraded with DWI charge to a felony. She was placed into the Montgomery County Jail in Conroe.

On 03-03-10 at 3:00 pm while patrolling the Holey Ridge Neighborhood in Porter, Constable Hayden noticed a wanted person identified as Charles Point. Constable Hayden placed Charles into custody. During a pat down for weapons and narcotics, a small bag of marijuana was found in Charles’s jeans pocket. Charles was taken to the Montgomery County Jail for the active warrants and for possession of marijuana.
