Late Wednesday Deputies from the Precinct 4 Constables Office and the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office Special Investigation Unit expedited a search warrant in the 28000 block of FM1485 at Idlewild Roadway.
Once they gained forceable entry they located 43-year-old Larry Wayne Chimel and 44-year-old Robert Michael Jackson inside the residence. During the search of the property deputies found 15.9 grams of meth, packaging and scales.
Both were taken into custody and are being charged with manufacturing/ delivery and possession of a controlled substance.
This is not Robert Jackson’s first rodeo. On January 31, 2010 as Deputy Josh Bergland was patrolling on his regular shift. He stopped Robert Jackson on a minor traffic offense and discovered a large amount of drugs in his vehicle. In addition was a large sum of money thought to be from the drug trade. The investigation led them to his residence where he was found Wednesday night. Back then to a large amount of drugs were found as well as packaging. Jackson was arrested on Manufacturer/ Possession and Delivery of a Controlled Substance and given a $6000 bond.
After tonight deputies recovered 15.9 grams of Meth, over $7000 in cash and several notebook computers. Both are charged with Possession/ Manufacturer and Delivery of a Controlled Substance. In addition Tampering charges were filed on both as they tried to dispose of the drugs when deputies arrived.
According to deputies the street value of the Meth is approximately $2000.
Both were transported to the Montgomery County Jail.
