Montgomery County Pct 4 Constable Kenneth “Rowdy” Hayden reports the following events: Compiled by Chief Deputy Barry Welch

Montgomery County Constable Pct. 4 Deputies arrested numerous suspects during the past two weeks, clearing 21 JP4 warrants, 3 Montgomery County warrants and 1 City of Pasadena warrant.

No Driver’s License, No Insurance, No Way!

14 vehicles were towed in Precinct 4 because drivers had no license and/or no insurance, 16 were towed because the drivers were arrested and 1 was towed for other reasons.

Neighborhood Patrol – Who was on Santa’s naughty list?

Michelle Lynn Carry, 31, of New Caney is charged with Public Intoxication. Ms. Carry was discovered lying in a ditch across the street from a bar in the 23300 block of Loop 494 in Porter, around 3 a.m. on December 27. She told Deputy R. Ford she was walking home.

Rogelio Benitez, 19, of Conroe is charged with Tampering with Physical Evidence with Intent to Impair, which is a third degree felony. On Christmas Eve, Deputy J. Bergland stopped Benitez for a traffic violation and noticed a strong scent of marijuana. Benitez was rapidly chewing and had a green leafy substance stuck to his lips. Benitez complied with the deputy’s request to open his mouth, revealing a large amount of marijuana which the deputy then ordered Benitez to spit into his own hand. However, Benitez spat a small amount into his hand and quickly swallowed the rest, turning a misdemeanor possession charge into a felony with one gulp.

Stephanie Lee Lay, 40, of Willis, is charged with Possession of Marijuana in a Drug Free Zone. Deputy A. Boudreaux arrested Lay around 11 p.m. on December 22 when she was asked to show identification and opened her purse containing marijuana in plain view. The incident occurred within 1,000 feet of two schools.

Frankie Perez, 20, of New Caney is charged with Possession of Marijuana. Deputy C. Turrentine arrested Perez on December 21 during a routine traffic stop when the deputy found marijuana in plain view inside Perez’s vehicle. The passenger, 18-year-old Benny Campos of New Caney, also had marijuana on his person and was arrested on the same charge.

Jennifer Grace Neely, 34, of Porter is charged with Possession of a Controlled Substance. Around 5 p.m. on December 20, Deputy E. Rivera responded to a call regarding a possibly impaired female at Little Caesar’s Pizza on US 59 in Porter. The obviously impaired woman struck another vehicle with hers, then stumbled out admitting to the officer she took prescription drugs, some of which were still in her possession with no proof they were prescribed to her.

Robert John McComb, 46, of New Caney is charged with Tampering with Governmental Record; Fail to Identify/Giving False Information; and Public Intoxication. On December 16, around 7 p.m., Deputy E. Rivera and Deputy C. Lambert stopped to check on a disabled vehicle and found McComb, the driver, appeared intoxicated and had a strong smell of alcohol. When asked for identification, McComb produced an obviously fake ID card with incorrect information on it. He later admitted having purchased the card at a flea market in Houston.

Kimberly Melynn Davis, 44, of Porter is charged with first-degree felony Possession of a Controlled Substance and first-degree felony Manufacture/Delivery of a Controlled Substance. Deputy J. Bergland and others received credible information that the resident of an apartment on Valley Ranch Crossing Drive took large quantities of methamphetamine and GHB into her apartment. A search of the apartment, around 10 p.m. on December 15 produced 5.3 grams of methamphetamine and 391 grams of GHB.

Wade Ridley Tanner, 29, of Dayton is charged with Driving While Intoxicated. Cpl. A Looza arrested Tanner on December 17 around 3 a.m. on US 59 at Ipes Road in Porter.

David Wayne Rogers, 42, of Channelview is charged with 3 counts of Unlawful Possession of a Firearm by Felon, which is a third-degree felony, and Possession of Marijuana. Deputies E. Rivera and C. Lambert were on patrol around 4 p.m. on December 17, when they saw a stranded motorist with his hood raised and stopped to offer help. After noticing the odor of marijuana emitting from the pickup’s cab and a shotgun case in plain view, the deputies requested identification from Rogers and his passenger, who had ID cards, but no valid driver’s licenses. They called for a K-9 Unit and the dog gave a positive odor response, leading to the discovery of marijuana and additional firearms.

Christopher Michael Dore, 31, of New Caney is charged with Unlawful Possession of Firearm by Felon (a third-degree felony) and an outstanding Montgomery County warrant. During warrant service around 6 p.m. on December 28, deputies found Dore was in possession of a 9mm handgun.

Jessica Sherri Henry, 24, of Conroe is charged with Possession of Marijuana. The contraband was discovered when deputies responded to a dispatch regarding a possible burglary in progress on December 28, and found Henry inside the home with the marijuana in plain view.

Lucas Diego Mendiola, 22, of Humble is charged with Possession of a Controlled Substance and an outstanding JP4 warrant. Mendiola was caught as the result of a routine traffic stop around 10:57 on December 16.
