Around 9 p.m. on July 22, Deputy Eli Rivera was patrolling the area of Hwy 59 and FM 1314 when he stopped a 1999 Dodge Caravan traveling at 85 miles per hour in a 65 mile per hour zone, with canceled license plates, but the driver had bigger problems.

Christopher Mark Kokoszki, 30 of Crosby had an active warrant through the Madison County Sheriff’s Office for Driving While Intoxicated 3rd or more which is a third-degree felony. A costly toothache

On the evening of July 26, Constable Hayden and Lt. Seals were investigating a tip regarding criminal activity at Bill’s 3 G’s trailer park, located at 23602 FM 1485 in New Caney. As they were driving through the trailer park, Lt. Seals noticed a white female standing outside of a vehicle. She apparently noticed them at the same time and dropped something on the ground then stood on top of it.

Lt. Seals and Constable Hayden stopped and discovered the woman, who identified herself as Michelle Volino, dropped a small clear plastic bag containing Xanax and Soma and then tried to conceal it with her foot. The driver of the vehicle was identified as 29-year-old Dayna Cooper of Conroe. Both women admitted Cooper was giving the pills to Volino and Cooper stated it was because Volino had a toothache. Cooper is charged with delivery of a controlled substance (a state jail felony).
