MONTGOMERY COUNTY PRECINCT 5 BUSTS CAR THIEF

Monday, Deputy’s with the Montgomery County Precinct 5 Constables Office were patrolling the PCT 5 area when they observed some suspicious vehicles on property.
Deputy’s while on routine patrol observed a suspicious red in color truck parked behind a residence located at 29907 Oak Lane, Magnolia, TX. Upon checking the Texas License Plate (LBM1939), it was found that the vehicle was reported stolen out of Harris County, Texas. Deputy’s made contact with the homeowner identified as Allen Wilhite and identified another red in color SUV parked next to the stolen vehicle which was located in the backyard. The second vehicle had been stripped down and no Texas License plate was located. Using alternate methods the second vehicle was identified and returned stolen as well out of Harris County, Texas. Wilhite was taken into custody for Possession of Marijuana < 2 oz. Constable Chris Jones comments: “The Precinct 5 Constable’s Office will continue to crack down on the Motor Vehicle Thefts in our area, and will continue to work hard to retrieve people’s property that is taken from them. Theft and Narcotics go hand and hand and Precinct 5 will not stand for either. If you have any information regarding a stolen property please call the Precinct 5 Office so that we can help recover the property that was taken illegally from honest working people.”
