Shortly after 9 pm North Montgomery County Fire Department, MCHD and Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office along with DPS responded to a motorcycle accident on Adcock Acres just off South Williams. When they arrived on the scene they found a 2004 Yamaha motorcycle in the ditch with the driver severely injured.

MCHD transported a 52-year-old male from the Cleveland area to Conroe Regional Medical Center.

According to Fitzpatrick the motorcycle had gone south on Adcock Acres, a dead end road. He then turned and went north at a high rate of speed. As he approached the curve he left the roadway and as he attempted to get the motorcycle back on the road his peg caught the edge of the road surface causing him to lose control. Several whisky flasks were found on the motorcycle but it is not known at this time if it contributed to the accident.

The driver of the motorcycle has been identified as Chris Harrah, 52 of Cleveland. Due to a head injury he has been transferred from Conroe Regional to Hermann Hospital in Houston. According to DPS he had been drinking and has two prior DWI offenses.
