motorcycle crashes at close to 100 mph

Just after 1 a.m. a Montgomery County deputy on routine patrol was passed by a motorcycle traveling northbound on Highway 75 near Willis. Before he was able to turn around on him the motorcycle passed a State Trooper. Neither the deputy or the trooper had time to start pursuit as the motorcycle turned westbound on FM 1097.
Just west of Interstate 45 a female driver and her passenger were eastbound and turning into the Kroger Shopping Center. Before there was time to react, the motorcycle passed three vehicles in the intersection and slammed into the woman’s Ford Explorer at close to 100 mph.
The driver, a white male who has not been identified as of yet was in critical condition when he was transported to Conroe Regional Hospital. He was then air lifted to Memorial Hermann Hospital in Houston.
The female driver or her passenger were uninjured.
