This is TEXAS and between the hot temps and the hot roads, tires do blow. I have a brand new travel trailer and a tire blew last week. The police report states “the tires were in good condition. Mr. Baker was in no way responsible for this accident. He and his passenger are both still in shock. Our prayers go out to the family of the young man.

This is so sad that someone lost their life to a horrible accident. By the look of the tire on the truck and the tread that seperated; it makes me wonder if there was not some kind of manufacturing defect. Tread should not seperate like this from what looks to be a fairly new tire.

Just a reminder to Maintain Your Vehicle! You can clearly see the tire on the truck was bald. Very sad indeed for this person’s family.
