Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office received a call for a suspicious rental truck on private property along the San Jacinto River in Bennette Estates off FM 1314. As the unit pulled up three males fled the scene. Two were captured a third was captured after an extensive search. They also recovered a stolen Penske box truck which was stuck in the mud. After identifying the suspects it was learned they were staying at a home in the 14200 block of Walker. Deputies responded to that scene and were able to locate several individuals. Also on the property, they found a stolen travel trailer, a stolen cargo trailer, a stolen Kabota tractor and another stolen Ford pickup recently stolen in Grangerland. Other vehicles are on the property which is still being identified. Several arrests were made as the investigation is continuing. Montgomery County Precinct 4 and DPS also assisted in the arrests.
