On Wednesday, April 1, 2015 at approximately 5am, Harris County Precinct Four Deputies received a disturbance call at 8831 Orchard Ridge. When deputies arrived, they found the suspect straddling Anthony Kincaid (55) and cutting him with a knife. Deputies quickly took the suspect, Ryan Whitaker into custody and called for medical personnel. The victim, Anthony Kincaid was pronounced dead at the scene.
Harris County Homicide investigators were called to the scene to investigate the offense. Investigators learned that Anthony Kincaid was a truck driver and arrived home in the early morning hours. He was washing his vehicle in his driveway at 8830 Orchard Ridge just behind Deerbrook Mall, when he was attacked by Ryan Whitaker. Whitaker obtained a knife and chased Kincaid to his neighbor’s house while stabbing and cutting him repeatedly with the knife. The neighbors heard Kincaid’s calls for help and called 911. However, Mr. Kincaid succumbed from his injuries.
Ryan Whitaker was charged with the murder of Anthony Kincaid and is currently in the Harris County Jail.
