This hazardous weather outlook is for portions of Southeast Texas..

.DAY ONE...Today and Tonight

Breezy south winds will continue for much of the day and a WindAdvisory may be required later this morning.

A dryline will approach the region toward evening. This feature will trigger a line of showers and thunderstorms. A few of the storms could produce strong gusty winds and frequent lightning. The areas with the higher potential for severe weather will generally be north of a Brenham to Livingston line.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Saturday through Thursday

A strong upper level disturbance will move across the Southern Plains on Sunday night. This feature could produce a few strong storms generally north of a Caldwell to Crockett line Sunday
night.

Another strong storm system will approach the region Wednesday into Wednesday night. This feature will have the potential to produce strong storms with gusty winds and heavy rain.

The National Weather Service in League City has issued a

* Tornado Warning for...
  East central Grimes County in southeastern Texas...
  Northwestern Montgomery County in southeastern Texas...
  Southwestern Walker County in southeastern Texas...

* Until 815 PM CDT.

* At 748 PM CDT, a severe thunderstorm capable of producing a tornado was located 11 miles east of Anderson, or 19 miles southwest of
  Huntsville, moving northeast at 40 mph.

  HAZARD...Tornado.

  SOURCE...Radar indicated rotation.

  IMPACT...Flying debris will be dangerous to those caught without shelter. Mobile homes will be damaged or destroyed.
           Damage to roofs, windows, and vehicles will occur.  Tree damage is likely.

* Locations impacted include...
  Richards.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

TAKE COVER NOW! Move to a basement or an interior room on the lowest floor of a sturdy building. Avoid windows. If you are outdoors, in a mobile home, or in a vehicle, move to the closest substantial shelter and protect yourself from flying debris.

...A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 815 PM CDT FOR SOUTHEASTERN GRIMES AND NORTHWESTERN MONTGOMERY COUNTIES...

At 738 PM CDT, a severe thunderstorm was located near Anderson, or 7 miles east of Navasota, moving east at 35 mph.

HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect wind damage to roofs, siding, and trees.

Locations impacted include... Montgomery, Anderson, Richards and Dacus.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

For your protection move to an interior room on the lowest floor of a building.

Prepare immediately for large hail and damaging winds. People outside should move to a shelter, inside a strong building and away from windows.

Torrential rainfall is occurring with this storm, and may lead to flash flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded roadways.

At 723 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm over Navasota, moving northeast at 30 mph.

Half inch hail and winds in excess of 30 mph will be possible with this storm.

Locations impacted include...
Huntsville, Navasota, Washington, New Waverly, Millican, Anderson, Huntsville State Park, Crabbs Prairie, Roans Prairie, Richards and Dacus.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Torrential rainfall is also occurring with this storm, and may lead to localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded roadways.

Frequent cloud to ground lightning is occurring with this storm.
Lightning can strike 10 miles away from a thunderstorm. Seek a safe shelter inside a building or vehicle.
