Late Tuesday afternoon a Roman Forest mother was outside with her 5-year-old son in the swimming pool. She was reportedly distracted for a moment, then turned around to see her son in the bottom of the pool.
The mother immediately jumped in and retrieved the young boy. He was unresponsive, and bluish in color. She began administering CPR, and within two minutes, her son was alert and speaking. He was then transported by Montgomery County Hospital District, but is expected to make a full recovery.
