The Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office is investigating an incident that occurred in the Kings Manor Subdivision in East Montgomery County on October 29, 2012.
Deputies learned that two 10 year old boys were walking home from school when a “burnt orange Mitsubishi Eclipse” stopped near them. The car was driven by a white male 18 to 25 years old who had a white female passenger about the same age in the car with him. The boys told deputies that the two asked the boys to help them look for a puppy and offered them candy and ice cream. The boys ran away and told an adult what happened.
Deputies also learned that a similar vehicle was seen a few weeks ago by a sister of one of the boys as she was waiting on the school bus. During that incident the car stopped driven by a white male and when he rolled down the window the girl got her cell phone out and the vehicle left.
The Sheriff’s Office takes these reports seriously and will follow-up on any information available.
