OFF DUTY OFFICER GETS DWI DRIVER OFF THE ROAD

On April 11, 2018 a deputy with Constable Mark Herman’s Office responded to the 24100 block of Tomball Parkway in reference to a suspected drunk driver detained by an off duty Precinct 4 Constable Deputy. Upon arriving, the off duty deputy stated that he observed the suspect driver driving erratically and almost struck several vehicles.

The suspect displayed several signs of intoxication. Standardized Field Sobriety tests were administered and it was discovered that the suspect identified as Jose Merced Otero Tello was Driving While Intoxicated.

“Jose Tello was arrested and booked into the Harris County Jail, charged with Driving While Intoxicated. His bond was set at $2,000.00 out of the 15th District Court.” – Constable Mark Herman
