PARTY IN EAST COUNTY RESULTS IN 1 ARREST AND 22 CITATIONS TO JUVENILES

Montgomery County Precinct 4 deputies were alerted to a large party at Loop 494 and Spears just after midnight this morning. When they arrived they found numerous cars parked illegally and blocking Spears Road. One resident complained he wasn’t able to get out.

As deputies approached the door, the owner of home Rene William Martin Jr., 21, of 2815 Halton Court in Kingwood came out locked the door and denied entry to officers when asked if all the people at the party were over the legal drinking age to which Martin said they wee.  With over 100 people at the party the officers  advised that the vehicle parked illegally needed to be moved or they would be towed. A white female exited the party and stated one of the vehicles was hers. That female, 17 years-old had a strong odor of alcohol on her.  She admitted to have been drinking as it was a keg party.  Deputies then request all the minors to come outside twenty-two of them admitted to have been drinking and citations were issued for minor consumption of alcohol.  Martin was then arrested for purchase and furnish alcohol to a minor. He was transported to the Montgomery County Jail on a $5000 bond.

Deputies spent several hours on the location calling parents, interviewing party goers and collecting evidence. Two kegs with taps were in use in the home.

The juveniles will now have to face Judge Mett’s.
