In mid to late October 2011, Patton Village Police Department Officers responded to a number of nighttime burglaries of residences in the City. These burglaries were occurring in the early morning hours while the residents were in the homes sleeping.

Information received from a citizen allowed Patton Village Detective Sal Delariva to locate property taken in these burglaries and identify the suspects. With the exception of cash money and some other small disposable items, all of the property taken in the Patton Village burglaries has been recovered. Additionally, property from other possible burglaries in the Splendora and East Montgomery County area has been recovered.

Sergeant Delariva is working with Detectives from the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office to resolve those cases as well. The suspects include two juveniles and one adult. The Montgomery County District Attorney has issued a warrant for arrest on the adult suspect. The Montgomery County Juvenile Probation Department is prosecuting the juvenile suspects.

The adult suspect is 20-year-old Earl Donnell Riley, who is charged with second-degree felony Burglary of Habitation.

Sgt. Delariva arrested Riley at the Conroe Parole Office at 9 a.m. on Thursday.
