Pct. 4 Crime Report

Montgomery County Pct 4 Constable Kenneth “Rowdy” Hayden reports the following events for the dates of Aug. 18 – Aug. 25:

Montgomery County Constable Pct. 4 deputies served 40 civil papers throughout East Montgomery County leaving 14 pending. Captain Moody served 3 writs and is in the process of serving 11 more. Montgomery County Pct. 4 Constable’s office made several arrest, from these arrests 43 JP 4 warrants were cleared. The Deputies also arrested 1 person for an outstanding Montgomery County misdemeanor warrant.

No Driver’s License, No Insurance, No Way
16 vehicles were towed in East Montgomery County for no DL and no insurance and 24 citations were issued to the drivers for traffic violations.

Neighborhood Narcotics Patrol
On Aug. 19 at 7 p.m. Pct. 4 Deputies went to a neighborhood in Porter in search of a wanted felon. The wanted person was not located, but 42-year-old William Nobles from Porter was arrested for possession of marijuana, after two of his marijuana joints were seen in plain view by the Deputies on scene. William was transported to the Montgomery County Jail and a $1,500 bond was set. William also had several active warrants from the City of Patton Village.

* On Aug. 21 at 2:20 a.m. Pct. 4 K-9 Deputy Bergland conducted a traffic stop. This lead to the arrest of 23-year-old James Hill from Splendora for possession of marijuana, after he was found to be in possession of a baggie of marijuana. James told the Deputy “all I got is a little bit of weed.” James is now aware that in Texas a little bit of weed is still illegal. James was transported to the Montgomery County Jail and was given a $500 bond.

* On Aug. 24 at midnight, Pct. 4 K-9 Deputy Sharp conducted a traffic stop on a speeding vehicle in the Porter Summer Hills neighborhood. The driver was identified as 35-year-old Jose Magdaleno from Porter. An odor of burnt marijuana was present. The K-9 was brought in and detected a narcotics alert on the vehicle. After a brief search of the vehicle a marijuana joint was located. After further investigation it was found that Jose had been deported from the USA for human trafficking and possession of a controlled substance. Jose was arrested for the marijuana charge. Immigration officials were contacted and Jose will once again be deported from the USA.

Police Chase / Reckless Driving
On Aug. 20 at 6:20 p.m. Pct. 4 Constable M.A.P. unit Deputy Rivera was dispatched to a reckless driving call in the SH 242 and FM 1314 area. Deputy Rivera caught up with the reckless driver at Old Houston RD. and FM 3083. 28-year-old Jesus Bolanos was arrested for reckless driving after it was found that he drove in the other lane of traffic and into oncoming traffic. Jesus almost caused several auto accidents. Jesus was transported to the Montgomery County Jail where he was given a $500 bond.

* On Aug. 21 at 2:30 a.m. Constable Hayden was checking the Porter area for a wanted person when he noticed a small car make an illegal u-turn on Perkins Rd. Constable Hayden attempted to conduct a traffic stop on the driver to give a verbal warning. The driver failed to stop after the Constable turned on his emergence police lights. The driver fled onto a small dirt road at a high rate of speed. Constable Hayden caught the driver as he was running from his vehicle. The driver was identified as 20-year-old Brett Mills from Porter. Brett had been arrested for evading arrest in a vehicle two other times in the past. Brett was arrested and transported to the Montgomery County Jail. His vehicle was seized for the felony evading charge.

* On Aug. 23 at 2:20 am Pct. 4 K-9 Deputy Bergland attempted to conduct a traffic stop on a blue truck in the Splendora area. The vehicle fled South on Tram Rd. and Deputy Bergland gave chase. A Splendora Police Department unit assisted in the chase and the vehicle was soon blocked in. The driver was identified as 26-year-old Jessie Martz from Splendora. Jessie was arrested for evading arrest in a vehicle, he was transported to the East Montgomery County Jail. His bond was set at $1500 His vehicle was seized for the felony evading charge.
