Montgomery County Constable Pct. 4 deputies served 69 civil papers throughout East Montgomery County, leaving 22 civil papers pending to be served. Two writs were served by Captain Harvey Moody leaving 4 pending writs. There were no evictions.
Montgomery County Pct. 4 Constable’s office made several arrests. From these arrests, 21 JP 4 warrants were cleared. The Deputies also arrested 2 people for outstanding Montgomery County misdemeanor warrants and 2 persons on felony warrants.
No Driver’s License, No Insurance, No Way!
18 vehicles were towed in East Montgomery County for no DL and no insurance and 18 citations were issued to the drivers for traffic violations.
Neighborhood Narcotics Patrol
* On July 17, at 6:55 pm Deputy Rivera conducted a traffic stop on Fire Tower Rd, on a gray SUV with expired inspection and registration. The driver of this vehicle was identified as 29-year-old Melissa Strahan from Conroe. The driver did not have a driver’s license or any auto insurance on this vehicle. During the vehicle tow inspection, Deputy Rivera observed methamphetamine and ecstacy narcotics inside the vehicle. Melissa was arrested for possession of a controlled substance and transported to the Montgomery County Jail in Conroe, where her bond was set at $3000.00
* On July 19, at 1 am Deputy Bergland observed an intoxicated male walking on Lp 494 near Keith Dr. This person was identified as 27-year-old Alferdo Vasquez of Houston. Alfredo had a strong smell of alcohol coming from his person, he was unable to walk and stand up. Alfredo was arrested for his safety as well as others for public intoxication. After the arrest, Deputy Bergland located on Alfredo a small bag of a white powder substance, that field tested as cocaine. Alfredo was charged with possession of a controlled substance and transported to the East Montgomery County Jail.
Constable Hayden has added ATV Patrols to his many ways of patrolling the neighborhoods of East Montgomery County.
* On Saturday July 18, Lt Seals and his partner logged over 50 miles of patrolling to the many streets and neighborhoods in the Sorters Rd. Porter area.
* On Sunday July 19, Investigator Clendennen and his partner patrolled over 25 miles in the New Caney area around the Keith Rd and Killer Bee subdivisions. Several contacts were made during the weekend ATV patrol event.
Citations that are targeted during this special patrol event include, but not limited to: operating an unregistered motor vehicle on a public roadway and allowing an unsupervised minor to operate an ATV.
