Members of the Montgomery County Precinct 4 Constable’s Office were part of a multi-agency investigation that led to the arrest of a Polk County man on Thursday for possessing and sharing child pornography.
Around 1:30 p.m., officers with the Texas Department of Public Safety Criminal Investigations Division, the Polk County Sheriff’s Office, and Precinct 4 executed a search warrant at the home of 33-year-old Joshua David Fleet, who lives at 1670 FM 3277 in Livingston. He is unemployed and was home when officers arrived.
Fleet admitted downloading and making images of child pornography available to others. A forensic triage of Fleet’s computer revealed around 100 images of child pornography involving male and female children, ranging in age from approximately 6, to approximately 15 years old.
Fleet told investigators he discovered his fascination with child pornography involving children around the age of 13 when he was 17 and first viewed some of the illegal images.
Joshua Fleet is charged with four counts of second-degree felony Possession / Distribution of Child Pornography. He was booked into the Polk County Jail. His bond is set at $25,000.
