Pct. 5 Constable’s Office, DPS CID Bust Teens With LSD

Late yesterday afternoon on November 1, 2018, the Montgomery County Precinct 5 Constables Office and the Texas Department of Public Safety Criminal Investigations Division conducted an investigation that resulted in two arrests and the seizure of approximately 72 tabs of LSD (Lysergic Acid Diethylamide) also referred to as “Acid”.

Information was received about a vehicle that was transporting and selling large amounts of LSD in the area of FM 1488 and 2978.  At approximately 3:15 PM, Deputies located the suspect vehicle and stopped it for multiple traffic violations.

The driver of the vehicle was identified as Kyle Robinson an 18 year old male from Magnolia and a passenger was identified as Cyrus Menke a 19 year old male also from the Magnolia area.  Deputies located the LSD while searching the vehicle and found additional units of LSD hidden on the driver after taking him into custody.

Both Robinson and Menke were arrested and charged with Manufacture/Delivery of a Controlled Substance Penalty Group 1A 20-80 Units which is a second degree felony in Texas.  Robinson and Menke are currently in the Montgomery County Jail.

Constable Chris Jones said, “The Precinct 5 Constable’s Office will continue the crackdown on drugs and associated criminal activity just as we did while Constable David Hill was in office.  This is another great example of how agencies can work together and the safety and security of Precinct 5 will always be at the forefront of our operation as we continue and strive to offer the best law enforcement services beyond reproach.”
