Police try to identify female SMC robbery suspect

Police are asking for help identifying a woman who robbed a convenience store in South Montgomery County wielding a large knife.
The Montgomery County Precinct Three Constable’s Office is investigating the incident which occurred on Sunday, Nov. 16, around 4:30 p.m. at the In & Out Food Store located at 2021 Rayford Road.
The bandit, who demanded cash from the clerk, is described a 30 to 40-year-old woman, about 5 feet 7 inches tall, weighing approximately 190 lbs. with light brown hair and a medium complexion. Her eye color is unknown, since she was wearing sunglasses.
A second person was driving the getaway vehicle, which was described as a small silver pickup. Only the first three characters of the truck’s Texas license plate were available, which were “9JR.”
