Sgt. Chris Rogers with the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office went into the hospital almost 5 months ago, for a simple procedure. He returned a few days later with a ruptured splenic aneurysm. While in the hospital he contracted Sepsis Infection which led to Septic Shock, his health began to deteriorate, his organs began to fail. He was moved from Hermann Woodlands to Methodist in Houston after he was told no beds were available at Hermann In Houston. The community came together, prayers, support for Chris and his family. It was touch and go for months, getting well and then another setback. With all the support and prayers Chris was able to fight and today has been cleared to return to light duty at the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office.
