Saturday evening Chris Turrentine was met by Constable Rowdy Hayden to be sworn in as the newest deputy for the Precinct 4 Constables Office. He was to be sworn in and start working the streets. However, within minutes of him being sworn in the call came for the lost boy at the Lake Houston Park.
Constable Hayden called most of his men in, and moved their mobile command trailer and four wheelers to the location at the park.
There they spent the rest of the night assisting the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Department and searching the woods for the young man.
Deputy Turrentine is no stranger to law enforcement. He has been involved in firefighting, EMS and law enforcement since a child and is a welcome asset to Precinct 4.
