PRECINCT 4 DEPUTY’S RECOVER STOLEN VEHICLES

Early Tuesday morning a Montgomery County Precinct 4 attempted to serve a warrant on Gonzales Street off Espinosa in New Caney. When he arrived a male and female were engaged in an argument. The male had a long gun in his possession. When he saw the deputy he fled into the woods dropping the weapon. As backup arrived they found the male who the deputy originally came for. While searching for the male in the woods Deputies came upon several vehicles which when checked were stolen. They recovered a large shallow water boat, a Chrysler 300 stolen from a man’s driveway in Katy on November 15th, a Toyota Highlander stolen in New Caney, and a stolen pickup truck. In addition, there was a stolen travel trailer on the property. They were unable to locate the male identified as Jonathan Westin Kelley. About an hour after leaving the scene an alarm call came in at a home on Gonzalez. Units responded and found Kelley in the attic of the home.
